does anyone know if this is a wolf or a dog and just saying first baby wolf howl cause my sister picked up something off the side of the road and it looks just like this one and it howls and1 vet claims its a shepard akita mix or another claims shepard collie mix though my sis thought it to be a wolf i met it all i know it has the same markings on its chest under her finger and it looks excatly like this and its ears and snout and it howls with its head and neck stretched to the sky

@pastafagoli1 it's most likely a wolf but i'm not sure by just the description but the howl stance gives it away that it's a wolf pup and yes this is a wolf it's a rehabilitation center for injured wolves tho the one u found i have no idea y it's on the side of the road as wolves tend to sometimes stay away from human civilizations and humans in general

With the chickens alone that's 20,000,000 a day. Not to mention the other animals we kill for food, it's just that chicken is by far the most consumed and exploited animal in the U.S. It's in EVERYTHING, which makes vegetarianism that much more difficult. I can't complain though : my cats, dogs, and snakes need to eat too.

@SlumdogKillionare I wouldn't recommend it. A half wolf might be one thing but after personally knowing experts who worked with wolves I can tell you, "they are not pets". I know they seem cute but we have to remember that they are natural top tier predators that serve an important function in nature. When we remove them from that habitat, we are upsetting the balance. My recommendation: Get an Alaskan husky or other breed of sled dog. They are the closest thing to a wolf you can get.

@SlumdogKillionar there are some good sights out there for hybrid dogs this one seems pretty good, but they are not pure wolves,but pretty close, a lot too depends on your states laws. also there are adoption sights if your interested in giving homes to hybrids people decided they didnt want to deal with for various reasons such as digging >.< they need a chance too :)
