Yeah. 3200 meters is deffinately not the same as two miles. 18 meters can make a difference. Depending on how fast you run there can be as much as 2-4 seconds difference.
Sorry TK, the difference is about 3.1 seconds according to the charts. In addition, the faster you go, the less amount of time you add, meaning it's actually less than 3.1 seconds when you are going faster. Just thought you'd like to know.
This is absolutely absurd. 2:12 in the opening half mile for a 2 miler. This is so unreal. I can't even break 10.

1 mile = just over 1,609 meters. So 3,200 meters is 18+ meters short of 2 miles.

this was a 3200, not a two mile. Just sayin, at that speed the 4-5 second difference is huge.

wat are you talkin about
jujuit01 2 years ago
the 3200 is two miles seeing as how 4 laps is one mile and the 3200 is 8 laps that would make the 3200 two miles
xcjunky101 2 years ago
Nope, 4 laps is not exactly one mile, it's 1600 meters. There's a difference. Same goes with the 3200.
