AC2 blows it out of the water, i never thought it possible. the gameplay is more complex ans less repetitive, there are more things to do and more tricks to master, not to mention Ezio is a better character, not just because of his better personalty, but the way they told the story, you connect with him more.

It's tied into the whole 2012 prophecy and it says that something about the sun's energy is going to cause the earth's magnetic poles to shift, basically causing armageddon. Sooo, in order to stop this from happening it looks like the third game will largely consist of Desmond finding all of this so called 'temples' left behind by 'those who came before' supposedly theres something they can do to save the planet.

the exact story of assassins creed is fictional, but the history isn't. generations pass down many things and since there used to be a lot of assassins and templars many could have passed on. The necklace pendant i wear around my neck has been passed down for generations, i can trace it to my great great great great grandfather who assassinated his landlord in ireland by stabbing him then fled to france, many things are possible

I never use online sources for the templars i prefer libraries or going to templar strongholds and castles and studying the history there.
