even though the original version is brilliant, I would kind of want to see a remake of this. Not because the original is bad but because I would like to see upgraded effects and a shortened version of the film. It has a great plot. but the movie kind of misses some of the interesting small details. But I wonder who would play pennywise...

@pigsbum53 Thats a difficult one...Tim Curry just seems to embody the role so perfectly...I could sort of imagine Kevin Spacey funnily enough doing a good pennywise, although the role might be a bit lower tier for him. Also, maybe a suggestion out of left field I could sort of see Daniel Radcliffe (when he is a bit older) being a good Pennywise, and I think because its him it would enhance the somewhat creepy effect...after all he has got good reviews for the woman in black...
