  • By the sounds of things that was only a 10 round mag but i would like the advise the cadet to use the grip at the rear of the rifle. Its there for a reason and having your hand at the front wont steady the rifle as you already have the bipod doing that for you.

  • NICE!!!

  • 30 rounds usually, but was that 30 rounds?

  • Also, it sounded a little weak, what ammunition are you using?

  • @PureZOOKS It would sound weak, note the BFA-S attached to the weapon. Blanks were used.

  • @PureZOOKS its blanks

  • Sounded like 10 rounds went off to me.

Was it not fully loaded, or that the mag size?

  • The BFA does several things - it stops a couple of live rounds coming out the barrel and it is critical for diverting the gas from blank rounds back up through the gas recoil system to allow it to cycle. If you fired a rifle without the BFA on it when using blank you would likely incur stopages as the gas system is not fed with enough gas.

  • they were only blanks tho

  • Is that the whole magazine? How many bullets does it contain?

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS it can contain 32

  • @MinecraftAndOthers ? And the survey says! eeeguurrg , Wrong!

  • @WaxworksAdam dumbass it can google it we have been in the army cadets for 3 years im pretty sure we know what we are talking bout

  • @MinecraftAndOthers I have no idea what your on about, you delete my comment

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS , The mag holds 30 , I Highly doubt it is the entire mag

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS 30 i think or else 45

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Both the L98 A2 and the LSW carry 30 rounds in their magazines. However, cadets may sometimes only be allowed 10 or 20 rounds (Like the first time I fired outside of a DCCT range).

  • "Right, in your own time... empty the whole fuckin' magazine..."

    Hahahah, awesome xD

  • @xUKxPenguinx I didn't know British people swore

  • @TheSpaniard1521 the British army swear a little too much, way more than the US army

  • the greatest fire order I've ever heard

  • @106QSDAVE what the well has COD got to do with it there is no BFA in COD just cus people play it doesn't mean it tells people about army/cadet stuff

  • @theultimatekill69 I totally agree with you I'm in cadets and the bfa does stop crap coming out the end and it has nothing to do with cocking the weapon

  • @theboss957 You cant fire the weapon repeatably with the BFA on, without constantly cocking it, like the A1

  • @TheWesternNinjas you can unlike the a1 the a2 has gas parts and the BFA divirts the gas from the blank round though the gas parts

  • @AdMaRxHD i ment without :L fail

  • orgasm

  • That's the gun u use in cadets

  • bangin off blanks...wheres ur helmet? SOP'S fella

    JNCO

  • Why don't you use the rear pistol grip?

  • @WitnessMELOx15 Any firearm can use a drum magazine. Replying to a 7 month old comment FTW.

  • NO RECOIL.. WHO'S ADMIN?..

  • @DanQuanXom They are called BLANKS

  • People asking "whats the yellow bit at the end"

    Its a Blank Firing Attachment.

Blank rounds have no projectile, and the projectile (bit that kills you) momentarily blocks the barrel as it travels, and causes some of the gas from the round to "leak" up to the gas parts and re cock the rifle.

Without the BFA, it would fire only 1 round and would need to be manually re cocked for every round.

The old cadet GP was more powerful than the because it did not use the gasses to recock.

  • @106QSDAVE nicely explained

  • @106QSDAVE not true can still cock itself without BFA, BFA's stop all the shit coming out so that you can aim it at someone without hurting them.

  • @TheUltimatekill69 You're half right, half wrong. If anything in the SA80 range of weapons manages to cock itself WITHOUT a BFA, then the barrel must be choked with carbon. If the barrel is clean, a blank round will not "leak" enough gas through the gas parts to move the bolt carrier to the rear.

But yes, the BFA also prevents MOST (not all) of the wadding from going too far.

  • @106QSDAVE okay this is what ive been told. BFA's stop crap coming out of the end, they can also stop up to two live rounds if someone fires one by accident. the reason the rifle cocks it self is because the gas going through the barrel goes up a little hole found near the fore sights (which is why your meant to take it off and clean it with a combi tool) the BFA also signafys that you are using blanks it has nothing to do with the cocking of a rifle.

  • @TheUltimatekill69 What you've been told? Jesus. Lots of people asked the same question. I tried to answer because i thought people would be interested. Now I wish I'd not bothered, because as usual there's an army of people willing to criticize and cross examine every comment.

I look at your vids and comments and now I see where your "facts" come from.

    We're done here.

  • @106QSDAVE thank you as you can tell i know alot about the army

  • the way you hold that gun is ridiculaus id stick wit m4

  • @asdgen3456 im guessing u are reffering to m4 on cod...

  • @aeromexicopilotman no im just saying it kinda looks wierd with your shooting ahand in the front not the back

  • @asdgen3456 yeah, atleast fire it properly, what reg is this?

  • u do know th SUSAT scope on it is slightly radioactive

  • @lazylewbob half life of 10 years and alpha radiation doesn't penetrate the skin, or even the cornea, your point?

  • @AceFaceJarv Just a random fact :)

  • @lazylewbob nice, continue to educate the ignorant, god knows someone needs to :)

  • @lazylewbob i left the trilux thing on during excersize once and cuddled the rifle with the susat right up by my manhood in my bivvie...

  • blanks are so shit

  • blanks are a waist of money

  • @2525zola2525 since 'waist' is the part of the abdomen between the rib cage and hips, it has nothing to do with ammunition, and you don't know what you're talking about. Anyway, blanks aren't a waste of money...

  • @AceFaceJarv jog on mate i was in the army... and i do no what im talking about....

oh look some one thinks there funny nob head

  • @2525zola2525 You were in, I'm currently in, and if those receiving that training don't consider it a waste, who is anyone else to say it is? Why do you think they're a waste?

  • fucking crow cannon!!

  • This weapon deserves a drum magazine, 30 round doesnt cut it.

  • @Yustax they did make one but there are only 40 in the world and all privately owned hence they dont make one for the airsoft lsw so i just use a c mag even though they dont fit in the real one

  • @Yustax I have a slight suspicion that you don't know what your talking about.

  • does this gun actually have a 100 round drum attachment or is that just in stupid cod mw2? Because i have never seen a real l86 lsw witha 100 round drum magazine.

  • the whole fucking magazine!!

  • if that was a SNIPER why use the whole MAG lol

  • @babyteggy it wasnt a sniper, the scope is a SUSAT not like a full sniper sight

  • @GTB2326

    SORRY DUH.....:D

  • Recoil Haxx

  • when ur in the real army in combat do u still get ear plugs?

  • @miky261 Not in Combat or when firing blanks. only when firing live. I don't wear fuck all though.

  • @miky261 you have the option, it is recommended though..

  • cool fucking muchine gun

  • small mag lol

  • @FreerunnerAirsoft yeah alright pal if you say so....

  • @FreerunnerAirsoft fyi i was int he army cadets i was a sgt when i left i can tell ya everything from NSP's ona weapon to DRILLS, wow i mispelled one letter...bite me mr england....¬.¬ 209 detatchment london, nw10. i can tell that that particular weapon when cleaning you have to clean the gassparts which the cadet gp does not have. and you see them yellow bits ona weapon it means its firing blank rounds....still doubtin me ????

  • @felipeopinion cadets have semi auto one now mate

  • the gay thing is they make u put that yellow thing in the front to stop shreads coming out....its fuckin blanks shit aint gonna happen unless u aim it right close to sum1s skin and it still wont kill.....army cadets takes the piss....sgt Silva (209) granadier guards.

  • @felipeopinion true but what if i live round got put into the mag the yellow thing as u call it can stop at the most 2 rounds but buy then u will know ur shooting live

  • @LTcrisp17 nah they give you the rounds to put it in there.....if you put it yourself you can get arrested n chaged and all sorts

  • @felipeopinion very true but ive heard some storys in the past so better safe than sorry :)

  • @felipeopinion it's there to recock the weapon, without it you cant fire without manually cocking it however it is stupid having a brigt fuck off yellow bit thats sticks out like a bulldogs bollocks

  • lol mw2 weapon

  • @ghostavenger1988

MW2 fails compared to real life, MW even failed trying to copy the weapon, I mean, it doesnt even have the SUSAT sight, besides, LSW means 'Ligt support weapon' its not a CQB weapon

  • @wolflover552 your talking shite, it is used in FIBUA, id does have a SUSAT because it's an infantry weapon and has a longer range. All weapons get used in 'CQB' dickhead

  • @InfantryChans91 yes it has a SUSAT but you wouldn't do FIBUA with an LSW mate, ya don't even take them on ops

  • @SuperThreaders ahem wrong and wrong again. Firstly you do OBUA with all weapons, LSW included in both support and clearence role. Secondly yes we do take them on ops especially now they have been revamped. However it's no longer used on Ops as an LSW but as a sharp shooting rifle. Which is now being phased out by the DMR.

  • @InfantryChans91 Look, when i say ops i do not mean Salisbury Plain with the cadets, the LSW was initially replaced by the MINIMI years ago, they wasn't even used on Herrick 5. There was no need for a rifle to fire a 5.56mm round to a max range of 800m especially when you can hit someone twice at 300m and they can still not go down, thats why the sharpshooter has been brought in (7.62mm). Also how do you come to the conclusion the Sharpshooter is a re-vamped LSW? Its not even a bull-pup?

  • @SuperThreaders well it's a good thing i'm not a cadet then. And really because I have several photos of guys from the Grenadier Guards on their last Herrick tour...with the LSW. It's still in use, rare, but it still turns up in Bastion and KAF. And I didn't say it was did I? I said they revamped the LSW the same way as the Rifle: rails, new sighting system and a better bipod. The DMR is a totally different weapon numbnuts. Again: the LSW is used on Ops and for OBUA in the UK with Crows

  • @InfantryChans91 To expand even more: Yes it's on Herrick, you don't see it often outside slipper city and Kandahar but I can assure you, it's there. However now the DMR has fully rolled out accross the board the LSW is now obselete and mostly stays where it belongs: with crowbags.

  • @InfantryChans91 Yea looks like your not even in the cadets..... "have several phots from the Grenadier Guards with LSW's" lol, but then again you are talking about Pongo's.

  • @SuperThreaders well done Sherlock, three years so far in Royal Anglian Regiment, and yes, you have friends on tour they often send photos home. Not gone yet myself but I can assure you, they are out there. Or would you rather wait untill I do go and prove you wrong. Throbber

  • why does he say the drills when there only blanks.

  • @MaDDSkILLZ002 ask any regular soldier and he will tell you that you are supposed to say the drills with nay type of round

  • @MaDDSkILLZ002

cus blanks can still blind people, also its good practice

  • @MaDDSkILLZ002 Because a British Soldier obeys his orders and can do the correct drills in his sleep

  • @MaDDSkILLZ002 Because it's drill. you do not change it.

  • Blank rounds?

  • That is a wicked gun i have held one of these:D

  • @rvsgamer firing it is more fun lol

  • right in your own time...mm...empty the whole fucking magazine lol, brilliant drills

  • man its truly jamed more than m4?

  • IN YOUR OWN TIME EMPTY THE WHOLE MAGAZINE I LOVE THAT GUYS PERSONALITY

  • The SA 80 used two types of mag one was the enfield the other was the american colt same one used in the CAR 15 this mag cuased stoppages cos it was never meant for constant reuse. The top of the mag would bend or open eventually thus two rounds would try and load thus a stoppage.

    Enfield mags were better.

  • this is a huge improvement on the l85... that thing jammed almost ever shot

  • That's a brilliant fire control order.

  • i want this gun with fall style camo and to take it to an african safari :)

  • @buzbee1991 The army isn't in the sharing mood right now XD. I'm sure they'll eventually be available to civilians once they've run their course.

  • whats the yellow bit on the end of the barrel for?

  • @jmeddnumba1 its a BFA standing for blank firing attachment also the magazines are yellow and have a lip on the top to stop live rounds being used in the mags, also the BFA stops live rounds from departing the barrel

  • @Harcorefolife ok cheers :)

  • @Harcorefolife The SA 80 use the same mag for live or blank!

    I know i was there.1990-1993 1st Bn WG Machine gun PLT.N.I. tour,kenya.

  • @solomonstemplers they dont anymore buddy there is a special magazine that only takes Blank so you cant 'accidently' load up live. Although no doubt someone has managed it!

  • is he usin a golden mag

  • wtf does he wana be death lol

  • i have a quick question how do you use the grip on the back? unless it comes off i don't see the use of it

  • @BSfanboy113 what grip?

  • i think ur meant 2 hold it wiv ur left arm across ur chest if u no wat i meen idk y eiva really it lks well odd but i suppose there must b a reason else they wudnt put it on

  • Use it while prone.

  • you hold it like you are cupping your arm pit

  • @BSfanboy113 use your right hand on the pistol grip, left hand on the rear grip, across your chest

  • that is the best command of weapon drill i have every heard in my life. 5* and fav just for that, :D x

  • LMAO- right in youre own time, empty the whole fuckin mag LMAO

  • lol i'd get nacked 4 not wearing ear defenders!

  • @scimatarpictures i was wearing the little yellow in-ear ones

  • @scimatarpictures its only blanks, not even loud compaired to live rounds

  • its blanks the yellow on the end indicates that it is only firing blanks, they use weapons like these when they train..

  • same weapon as live firing, just an attatchment

  • is he recoil that low or is it just because he is in a prone possition.

  • blanks not lives :) blanks = less recoil

  • well, as a cadet, you can swear and not get told off, i'm in Talavera A company btw :D

  • i was in 5pl (pwrr) Z coy 2nd battlion of the Hants and IOW acf. Now im in 214 (para) 21 group, middlesex and northwest london acf

  • "right in your own time, empty the whole fuckin magazine" lol

  • @Allyness92 they like this in atc to !! :L

  • HMM a beruit unload

  • "Empty the whole fuckin' magazine" are words I would love to hear

  • doesn't look like a lot of recoil

    good weapon though

  • that's because he's firing blanks dumbass, did you not notice the BFA and blank mag??

  • its blanks and the cadet version of blanks too they have alot less powder = less bang , sucked but you could open and put 4 rounds worth of powder in 1 and u got a big bang :D

  • there is no cadet version of blanks mate, they use NATO standard

  • Blanks dude,

    lol...

  • it's because it's on a bipod...

  • lol, in ur own time...... empty the whole fuckin magazine. lol

should be in your own time carry on

  • blanks?
