@Craigpiff Say What?! I normally don't really react to comments on YouTube-Videos and stuff, but Dude: ''Some people just dont deserve to know about good music'' ?
I see what you mean, but imagine THIS was actually better known, maybe even played on the radio sometimes? Those dumb and ignorant people would probably even try to figure out the artist and so they would get to know music, that people like you and me love, maybe they'd realize how shitty most of the mainstream music really is! :)
@Craigpiff ... the reason why we have so many ignorant and easily lead automatons out there is because many haven't been exposed to intelligent forms of expression.. keeping avant-garde music like flying lotus hidden is in the long run more detrimental to our collective growth as people.
@aoakampfer (Obviously not him but...) I think at the moment it's better for us as humans to keep our mouth shut, and enjoy this music. It's not worth the risk of having music like this heard by ears that didn't work to get to listen to this, we might see comments like "THUMBS UP IF LOLZORATOR BROUGHT YOU HERE."
Its jazz with high enough bass, its good rave music. I like technical death metal, but this is pretty fluent and technically timed. Not picasso, Just another musician.
@RealRapAttack I appreciate this b/c some ppl like to act like they've been listening to underground since they were born. Most ppl start off mainstream. I did Ludacris => 50 Cent => Kanye West => Mos Def, Flylo, Nosaj Thing, Danger Mouse, Cee-Lo Green. I'm still a huge Kanye fan though.
@bgsuswagger hmm i kind of did too... eminem, 50, jay z, linkin park, etc... just kinda took off from there into gangster rap like bone thugs and do or die, then twista but now i do nothing but underground for the last 6 years haha
I started by exploring jazz, finding the Miles Davis album "In a Silent Way", having a friend suggest I listen to samples of his follow-up album "Bitches Brew", and then seeing that people who bought that album also looked at "Cosmogramma" by someone called Flying Lotus. This was all in the last few hours. Now I guess I'll have to look up some of these other referenced artists when I get some time.

@tjhott99 yeah, the uploader screwed up somehow. The beginning of this video is actually another song by flying lotus called "german haircut." Recoiled starts at 1:56 like you said. SICK song
ok, i apologize for my vulgarity, but this song makes me want to have sex in a sports car going 120 down I-75 at 3 in the morning, and then when we stop I just have the most epic orgasm ever!!! (the orgasm = is what 4:45 sounds like)
Everything on this album is so run together on Youtube. like all the songs have different lengths then the actual length. like this is not only recoiled but german haircut.wtf
Maybe it's genius future jazz or maybe it's a spastic locked in a room full of vintage synths and expensive software. The final effect is the same, mind altering.
The beginning of the video is actually german haircut. A lot of bootleg versions that pot heads rip for free have the tracks combined though. If you're going to steal a song and post it on the web at least have the decency to get the titles right.
@edeneye808 hey man you can shut the fuck up smoking weed has nothing to do with knowing every flylo song start to finish, so you can suck a big fat dick and get the fuck off of youtube
@alexknaz Strangley enough I got here though artists like Four Tet, Bonobo, Pantha du Prince etc. so it's almost the opposite apart from the fact i'm not a huge fan of hip-hip :P

@23torme But this was in the Dance section at a music store I once went to. its the only reason why I searched it up. But never the less Im still pointing out my criticism towards this "Music". It just sounds like a bunch of ambient noises put on a sound track. They don't blend together they're just they're own noises. It has no organization to the beats and just sounds distorted. Maybe if there was a little organization in the sounds it would have great quality.
that took me on a JOURNEY!!!! the switch at 1:55 literally made me jump lol. Thats wat i LOVE about this guy. His music can be sooo unpredictable, yet it still works! Organised musical chaos at its best!..
That fuzzy zipping sound he uses at 4:45.. anybody else think it could be a sample of like a motorcycle or an engine of some sort? haha

I'm not sure why people hate on the intro. FlyLo takes you on a journey. I won't listen to it unless I'm able to listen to entire thing.
