Frank Miller is an arrogant, ignorant buffoon. All his comics are absorbed in this teenage macho worldview. Every man in his comic is a macho tough guy. every woman in his comic is a bloodthirsty whore. he disrespects other cultures and calls them barbaric, while stating the superiority of the American way of life. if you want a real genius, who truly has respect for the art form and life in general, read Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman

Frank Miller is the best. My favorite thing about him is how dark he makes shit. Its great. The new movie really portrayed how I viewed the joker and batman. Couldve done with at least some blood, but all and all, it was what was to be expected.

You're one of those people who read the Watchmen and DKR and were only superficially influenced. They weren't good because they were dark and gritty. Violence does not equal maturity.
