Makes me cry. We all miss him us B5ers. I met him 5 times, class act, such a shock, and so danm sad. Will always love you Richard, and Andreas, and Jeff, forever in our hearts.
I was lucky enough to have met Richard at a Star Fury convention, a true gent who is sadly missed, and has gone beyond the rim with Andreas, Tim and Jeff. RIP
I know Jeff Conaway doesn't have as much footage to work with as Richard or Andreas, but when are you going to get around to making one of these for him?
it is quite striking that a show with such sublety and depth was ever able to be made. It attracted actors of supreme ability, it allowed them to meld their own personalities into the role they were playing. All truly great actors do this. It was wonderful to see the development of characters such as Dr Franklin and G'Kar and the rest for good or ill. Rest eternal Andreas and Richard, you were a credit to your profession and,by all accounts, to our common humanity. As JMS says Faith manages.
@Dredhawk10 i have reason to believe there are trolls out there that do absolutely nothing but hit dislikes all day just to antagonize people no matter how good the vid is. just ignore them or dont even acknowledge the dislike people. scabs like that aren't worth it and are just trying to garner attention.
fuck why dose all the good ones go, why not take those poeple from star trek instead. i would have loved to meet Richard and Andreas. fuck this sucks, R.I.P, out there beyond the outer rime
@Gallowell Huh?? A broken arm is "unfortunate". A flat tire is "unfortunate". A bad haircut, burnt toast, and stopped up toilets are unfortunate. The death of someone you love and/or admire is nothing less than tragic.
I feel sad by the fact that i can't mourn Rick Biggs, or Andreas Katsulas. I can mourn the passing of my favorite characters from my favorite show. But as much as a fan as i am of Babylon 5, i never learned their real names, or watched their other work, or learned about them until they passed away. I have learned now not just to appreciate a good piece of fiction, but to also appreciate and learn more about the people behind it, before its to late.
Babylon 5 was my fuel when i was only a child those characters build my personality they are actually my other parants and when I know that someone from that huge and beautiful family Babylon 5 goes away to other world for real and that a wont see him again it makes me cry .... ill miss you both Gkar and Dr. franklin :(
Just learned today that he died. wow. met him at a con briefly once. he seemed pretty nice. i think i'm gonna take the picture i have autographed out of my folder and hang it on my wall now
This was a lovely tribute. I remember first watching Richard on Days of Our Lives and then several years later on B5. I was stunned to hear of his death when it happened. RIP Richard.
I too first became aware of Richard Biggs by his work on Days. It was his joining babylon 5 that actually got me to start viewing the show on a regular basis. How very fortunate for me. How unfortunate on the other hand that he died so young. R.I.P.
Fantastic in B5...Richard, you are missed. The heart disease "aortic dissection" has taken the lives of Richard Biggs, Lucille Ball, John Ritter and Lux Interior (of the Cramps). Rest easy friend.
He was one of the first actors I met at the very first sci-fi convention I ever went to--Tachycon 9 in Orlando in 1997. I met him a couple of times at cons since, and attended one of the acting classes he did at a convention with Jason Carter. He was truly a kind man and an extremely talented actor. I have the picture I had taken of me, him, and Jason Carter on my wall in my den, and treasure the memories of both Dr. Franklin on the series and Mr. Biggs. You will not be forgotten.
Thank you for posting this, its a very touching clip. I never made it to a convention for Babylon 5, but everyone always says he was a lovely man. His passing was a very sad moment for many, but his star will still shine in our skies. Rest in peace
May they will not be forgotten. Ever. I'm sorry for my bad english - i'm crying as hell.

I didn't know the doctor in B5 had passed away. Shame, as Richard played the part with such passion, and to go at such a young age is tragic.

Why does life take away the good people from us so quickly?
I would of wrote sooner, but I needed time to think about it.
RIP, Good Doctor, the world is a sadder place without you.

I found this tonight - but it brings back such memories
i met Richard in 2003 - in the August I think at a SFX show in London.
He took my daughter in his arms telling her not to be scared by all the people in masks and suits.
We chatted for a while and all the time he was saying how beautiful my daughter was.
Richard was a true gentleman and I treasure my photos of him and my daughter.
Long may you fly the stars Sir!
