@bubi1954 Yep they don't make music like they used to.it was about the talent back in the days, hate this rap crap or this pop bull, today it's about the money and spotlight, i wonder why im still stuck in the past, 50's through the 80's is the best era for anything.
@jason75 Your right the music was great I am stuck in a time warp too and loving it favourite band is Eric Burdon & The Animals glad I was born in 54. The old English sport cars were great in the 60's & 70's.
The music of Vanilla Fudge takes me back to my Haight-Ashbury days in San Francisco in 1967 and 1968. I use to listen to a underground radio station in the area that played Vanilla Fudge. They weren't played on regular radio yet. As I listened on my radio as I walked down the street, straight people looked at me as though I was crazy.
I love V. F. and their style of music which they played. I still groove on them today at 62 years old.
@Rrwmissouri im jealous to you coz u were there at 67 ,68 at the haight ashbury in the hippie acid culture I wish im there too ..today life is bad no more peace and love...
nice job, nice rendition. I like how you made it your own. the drummer played it pretty straight, but I can tell that he has the chops to do the carmine stuff, but chose to make it his own style. I can dig on that! good job!
You guys did a really gr8 job especially the drummer... i know how hard carmine's stuff is. but i also have to agree with mailderric, good for studio not live... a good 7/10
@bobby14207 does the diana ross version have more energy? did she recut it? i am talking the way it is supposed to be...full of life and energy..this sounds like 80 years olds who put down their walkers and picked up instruments for 5 minutes...
I thought this was going to suck in all honesty. It didn't. Not bad guys. Good job on the liquid light background. How did you guys get that? Is that computer enhanced? Man I'd like to find someone who would actually be interested in creating liquid light shows like they did for the Fillmore back in the day.
Almost forgot how much I love/loved this stuff. A whole different meaning for "slow jam."
