I have just watched the very first episode to this one back to back on dvd, and i love it!
i know where to get season 7 but because of the writing strikes it's only gonna be 15 episodes long! anyway i researched and read this about her death: "Lana found a clone of herself in Lex's basement and had it in the car, she set off the bomb herself and is apparently on the way to Japan when the bomb goes off" which makes me wonder as we saw her run to the car? the clone wouldn't kill itself would it?
With Lex after her and his father, Lana couldn't get away, so she faked her own death. The bomb in her car was set up. As you see just before she gets in her truck a mail truck passes by. She gets on the mail truck before it leaves. She set her car truck to auto-start and it blew up. This way the man will think she died and will give up. See how it works?
she ain't dead she killed herself on purpose so people would think she was deada she knew lex wouldn't stop looking for her or trying to "hurt " clark to get to her. it was so predictable. lana is alive and when the show starts back up well start seeing her face in crowds only saw by clark probably since she only wants to be with clark for now.
For safery reasons the stunt was done with no one even close to the car, In all superman movies lana and chloe are dead, But next season it will be revealed that she is alive when clark accidently finds her. It only worked because linal was there to witness it. Oh and chloe is not dead either her powers regenerate with contact with kryptonite.

Shes not dead, and here is an explanation:

remember that Clark is later love focused on Lois. Lana has to die at any moment, but not in the same episode as Chloe!!
