  • JIM DEMINT IS AN ASSHOLE. Why don't he pretend as one of the TSA employee and see really what going on inside TSA. Qualified employees being replace by new one almost day to day basis. Low morale. Unfair treatment from the chain of command. I been in the U.S Army for 14 years and that also include my deployment to the war zone at Iraq. Being in TSA is more morale draining that I am prepared to go back to the war zone in Iraq or afganistan but was told that I am too old to enlist back.

  • slaughter the sheep

  • slaughter the stupid sheep

  • Glad Pap is on Fox, I think.

Jim DeMint knew that the last 2 admin. had

terror attacks within the 1st yr. He held up the

nominee, not b/c of unionization, but b/c he was

hoping upon hope that, the attacks that were sure

to come, would be successful. They were not, much

to the chagrin of Mr Jim. WTF, maybe the 3rd time

    Jim boy.

BTW, wasn't the pants-on-fire terrorist trained

by 2 guys released from Gitmo by de facto President Cheney? Nah, can't be... but it is be)))

  • if your going to take the union away from tsa might as well take it away from fbi, customs border patrol etc...lets be fair

  • yeah, take unions away all together.

  • @haaaylee EXACTLY OTHER WISE DONT TAKE THEM AWAY

  • General Eletric is only 15.60 a share

It was hard to pay attention with those Nasdac stock prices on the bottom of the screen

  • Cute title he put on the video too! Actually, it is Obama and Eric Holder that are aiding terrorism.

  • The question is 'what's wrong with full body scanners' and Papantonio goes off on Jim DeMint and his stance against unionizing the TSA.

This isn't a union issue, it is a safety issue. But, that's the left's, and trial lawyers' bread and butter.

Besides, unions employees don't perform better than non-union employees. So really, what is his point?

The only difference is the unions make contributions to the trial lawyers and other liberals running for office, like Barack Hussein Obama.

  • Those full-body scanners are effectively big microwave ovens cooking your fluids. I don't know about you, but I'd rather strip down than get microwaved!

  • that bitch needs to shut the fuck up... her voice is unbearable!

  • I shouldn't click on "Thumbs" too early in the AM. Again, inadvertently "Thumbed Down" this and your absolutely right. Her voice is like fingernails on the chalkboard and stupid to boot.

  • How can people even listen to this.Republicans have no other interest than obstruction. They have said it both in words & actions. What happened to having civil disagreements with sound arguments?oh, I forgot, MONEY!!!He who has it rules & that's who has gotten into our political process. And it's the shmucks who make $45K/yr who are fighting for those making $500+K/yr.And they don't even have to hire you... Dumb shits.

  • "Republicans have no other interest than obstruction."

And Congressional Democrats are only 2% better. They're all just trying to keep their lobby money.

The only difference between the two parties is that Republicans naively believe that want's in the best interests of their corporate sponsors is ALSO in the best interests of citizens. Democrats know the two interests are in conflict, but disingenuously try to strike a balance between the two so as not to lose their election money.

  • TB, I just wonder if this might be the time of the emergence of a third party... right wing probably. I don't think the discontentment on the left is as powerful. For the most part, I don't disagree with the far left, but I'm a pragmatist and realize the answer is in the middle. But the far right is soooo far right, the right moderates may break away... that's where the third party "hopes" will come from.

  • BTW, I don't think it's naive that it helps the "common" citizen. I truly believe they don't give a shit. We have to get the thousand of lobbyists who have a strictly monetary interest out of all of this. The naivete is that corporations operate in the best interest of all. Their ONLY interest is in profits. There is no, zero morality in capitalism. That's where the naivete is.

  • The real issue that Americans need to deal with is campaign finance reform.

Until that is dealt with, there will be no honest solutions to the challanges that the US face in the 21st century.

Jim deMint is an excellent example of the quagmire of the American political structure.

  • I couldn't agree more!

Why is that always the LAST thing on everybody's agenda?

Politicians are not, by nature, dishonest. No more than anybody else, that is. But when you need millions of dollars to run an election campaign, you make deals with the people who have it.

Alcoholics cannot ever be casual drinkers, and politicians will never legislate for the people unless they abstain completely from PAC and lobby group liquor.

  • Sorry, inadvertently "Thumbed Down" you and it was supposed to be a "Thumbs Up." You're right on.

  • Drunk again.

  • How can you be conservative and support Unions? That is not possible.

  • Jim Demint is pretending tobe the senate version of Ron Paul. He is not as honest as Ron.

  • I don't know how you can say that. DeMint toes the Republican party line to the millimeter, and Ron Paul barely toes it at all, except in the area of faux Austrian economics. Other than being a vocal advocate of getting government out of commerce and removing regulations from business, Paul is the antithesis of a Republican.
