Thats a meteor exploding becuase of the heat it gets by hitting our atmosohere at very high speed. basicly its what happens when a big piece of rock gets very hot... it explodes. the diffence is that this is going mutch faster then you average rock

I've seen a large object fall through the atmosphere, the trail doesn't just appear and disappear like that. An outline, or the tear, is present in the sky for about ten seconds afterwards. does kinda look fake, however i do believe extraterrestrials are amongst us and are weeding out the dark ones on this planet. definite meteor track. You can see that phenom of flashing as it were as the heat of reentry breaks off bits that flash incinerate like blink blink. This is probably how Tunguska detonated high over head. Those flashes are small explosive jets of ice,water,gas that, when superheated during the intense but short fall from the ice cold of space are suddenly heated to 1000 plus degrees in a few moments. Those gasses are probably volatile as well. Totally cool, good catch.

There is some great footage of it, too, as this was a very large meteor and was tracked quite a while before reaching earth (it was BIG and expected). Google it as it's facinating reading.
Beside all the small meteorites that comes straight to us everyday, we also have tons of materials floting on space near to earth... Things that spaceshuttle let in, old peaces of old satellites.. you can easily know the difference of a meteor comming and a piece of spaceshuttle falling down. The speed those objects is really low, and if you are reconding it, you can film it for several seconds before it desapear. A meteor is really fast, you can film it for only 2 to 4 seconds....

ok ok ok. this is a real footage of a patriot missile launch during the iraq invasion of kuwait. a surface to air goes 45 degrees or so. an alien space craft just hovers.

the funniest aspect about all this speculation is that for thousands of years people have been seeing things in the sky and calling them demonic or divine or intelligent. Most of those things are clearly understood now as natural phenomena. Unfortunately, all the new technology today gives rise to more and more "sightings". The day we actually get contacted from outer space, all those who have been seeing balloons and planes and claiming to see aliens will think they were correct all along.

meteor .... and they arent all made of ice ...copper burns green ...comets are orbital or space bound , meteor when it burns in our atmosphere , and meteorite when its on the ground.

it defenetly wasn't a meteor, because it emited huge scale colours of light, i can't explain what exactly that was, but i'm sure it was a craft.

This is not a strange object... It´s just a huge UFO approx. 3 miles in dia.
Just joking, - it sure looks a lot like a meteor! Also when comparing the speed. Wonder if it made any sound? Often even a small meteor sounds like thunder...
