I think sometime movie critics have to pan a movie now and then just so people dont say they love every movie they see, I thought Hancock was a real good idea, and i enjoyed it, make your own mind up folks !

Oh and yeah more explanation on the "twist" would've helped it a lot. We are told he has been alive around 80 years or something like that and then we find out that he's actually been alive for thousands of years and he got amnesia and his destined wife leaves him (for what exactly? to become a superhero? wtf) to live her own life. WTF. If we were given a solid explanation as to why she left it would've been 10x better. And the hospital scene was just retarded. What's with the hook?

Yeah I thought the CGI was good too. Not great but good enough. Pity the film couldn't live up to the trailer. From the trailer I thought the bank heist was going to come last where he saves the day which I think would have made the film better.

Yea I totally agree Chuck!! It was an OKAY movie worth the price of admission in theaters and nothing else. Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Batmen were fantastic but the problem I had with it was there were way too many plot holes that went unresolved toward the end. A forgettable summer blockbuster 6/10

This is the first time I've seen one of Chuck's videos. He tells it pretty well. The special effects seemed unbelievable at times, and it was more of a chick flick than an action adventure or comedy. The plot was erratic, stumbling from one plot point to the next. The first twenty minutes or so were great, though.

To be honest, the marketing is the problem. At no time was this supposed to be a superhero movie, but all of the sudden, they start making trailers as if it was in the following week. Whats up with that?? Also to many racial undertones in the movie. "Hancock" and a black superhero who prefers to drink and flirt with girls than actually do his job. On top of it, they actually cut out the scene where Will Smith Kisses Charliz Theron.Black man kissing white woman on the big screen still a no no??
