I am so glad you brought this up. I am a California resident and live in the bay area, born and raised. I know SF has a lot of this going on which is so scary because I go there every now and then. People don't realize that there could be a victim right next door in some random building being trafficked! It really makes me sick. I hope this will make people more aware. I know California isn't the only place where human trafficking occurs but I hope that people will take action in this.
I just saw a program today on trueTV on sex trafficking and it really disturbed me that this is a growing problem in this country. I really believe sexual predators should be punished as severely as murders, because they basically destroyed the lives of the people they raped.
