People always talk about how Superman can't be related to because he's so pure and good when in fact he has a rather interesting conflict. He must always wrestle with the temptation to take full advantage of his powers and impose his will or enslaving people for "a greater good." He also has issue with living up to people's grand expectations of him as some "higher than thou" power. Batman's pushes himself to be more than human, Superman is trying to connect to humanity as an outsider.

Can you imagine what it must be like to have to be mindful of every move you make, every time to touch something (or someone), pick something up? Superman managed to lift a book with infinite weight, lift a mini black hole, a growing solar system, he held Eternity itselft for a couple of seconds, moved Krypton, etc.. PC Superman could move 32 planets at the same time with only one hand (without too much effort). We can say that every version of Superman are strong.

S3 was terrible, no doubt about that, so it was good that they just disregarded 3 and 4 in Returns, but they just made Lois seem like a total bitch for not even noticing Clark was gone. Supes' kid throwing the piano was probably the most action in that movie, they should just put in Doomsday or Darkseid in the next one and just leave it from there.
If you think superman can't beat darkseid you should check out justice league unlimited. He literally tells him that hes not gonna stop till hes a greasy smear on his fist. and superman accoplishes this goal in timely fashion. Batman of all people shows up to stop supes from killing darkseid and shoots himself and supes into a boomtube to earth before he lands the finishing blow. Search Superman vs Darkseid_1 and you shall see it my friend.
cuz batman, along w3ith almost everone else, has to use supes weakness against him. Put supes against anybody, no kryptonite, no magic, no red sun radiation and supes will win 99 % of all fights.

I think that the descussion about who is better DC or Marvel is a bullshit. It seems that you must choose a side like in the star wars. I like Dc and I like Marvel. Superman has a high resistance to magic and in the comics he fights through kryptonite poisoning. Those things don't automatically paralyze him, like in the movies and tv series.
I have watched alot of justice league episodes, and I do not ever recall an episode where Superman serves as a soldier/herald for Darkseid. Anyone know if that was an episode from the series or from another series?

actually that superman is from an alternate dimension exactly like the normal one. except he's a bit meaner and is part of a team identical to the justice league, called the "Justice Lords" (check Wikipedia). :)
There's two different ones that have the white suite. The first one is his future self the old one that batman (Beyond) was looking at in the monitor without a cape, the other is from an alternate reality but his story is complicated, check out the cold justice MV it drops a lot of hints as to what makes that storyline awesome. S3 was terrible, no doubt about that, so it was good that they just disregarded 3 and 4 in Returns, but they just made Lois seem like a total bitch for not even noticing Clark was gone. Supes' kid throwing the piano was probably the most action in that movie, they should just put in Doomsday or Darkseid in the next one and just leave it from there.

If you think superman can't beat darkseid you should check out justice league unlimited. He literally tells him that hes not gonna stop till hes a greasy smear on his fist. and superman accoplishes this goal in timely fashion. Batman of all people shows up to stop supes from killing darkseid and shoots himself and supes into a boomtube to earth before he lands the finishing blow. Search Superman vs Darkseid_1 and you shall see it my friend.

cuz batman, along w3ith almost everone else, has to use supes weakness against him. Put supes against anybody, no kryptonite, no magic, no red sun radiation and supes will win 99 % of all fights.

After he breaks free he and Darkseid have the ultimate final fight of that series. Superman barely wins, and tells teh people of Apokolips they are now free---but then they mindlessly all go over to Darkseid and help him stand. Darkseid laughs, telling Superman that even though he lost, on Apokolips, "I AM GOD."

The only competition for DC comics is Marvel Comics , DBZ is a good show but with its crappy animation and cloned characters and repetitive story line, its no match for super hero icons and legends like superman, or spider man, captian america ect. DBZ is a fucking joke compared to these cartoons that our grandparents used to watch don't even mention DBZ with DC or Marvel.

I think that the descussion about who is better DC or Marvel is a bullshit. It seems that you must choose a side like in the star wars. I like Dc and I like Marvel. They are so different that i think it´s impossible to compare the two together. I prefer Superman and Batman but i like Spiderman and Ironman too, and other super heroes. For the fantasy that the comics brings to our life! DC and Marvel united!!!!!

Superman has a high resistance to magic and in the comics he fights through kryptonite poisoning. Those things don't automatically paralyze him, like in the movies and tv series.

actually that superman is from an alternate dimension exactly like the normal one. except he's a bit meaner and is part of a team identical to the justice league, called the "Justice Lords" (check Wikipedia). :)

There's two different ones that have the white suite. The first one is his future self the old one that batman (Beyond) was looking at in the monitor without a cape, the other is from an alternate reality but his story is complicated, check out the cold justice MV it drops a lot of hints as to what makes that storyline awesome.
