I am lucky enough to sign up for Premium before facebook requirement but I hope Spotify realizes how much money they lose if they keep that policy that you need a facebook even if you don't have to use it.

So spotify is one more web service the decided to align with FB? I investigate spotify's service, but because of a FB connection, I may not keep it. Well the investigation didn't even start. Went back to the download page & seen in step 3 Log in with Facebook. BS every time I log into FB I have to ask myself why do I keep that account? The shit some of my friends post there often outweighs anything good posted there

Personally I think moving to Facebook has been a bad thing. I don't like it when people see what I'm listening to, it's annoying that I have to click "private listening" every time I log in, and since you changed it so I can only listen to a track 5 times, spotify has become less of a free product, and more of a test product, which helps people decide if they want to buy something.
