All those environment issue is just to band palm oil. So the soy bean and jasmine oil from the westerner will not have a competitor

No it is because Indonesia, is due to palm oil, the third largest emitter of CO2, because of forest destruction. The smoke from the forest fires sometimes reach as far as Japan, and even causing economic damage. In the past you had a stunning beautiful country, but today much of your country has been transformed to ugly palm plantations. You are probably proud of that, right. If there is a brand which would totally ban the use of palm oil, I would buy it.

Yes maybe we are destructing rain forest. But please dont be such a naive. Palm oil have the highest oil production per hectare compared to any other plant in the world. For example compared to soy bean. Dont you know that america make people in Brazil grow soy bean?Which destruct much of amazon rain forest?Please "SEE" that the main reason of the enviromental issue on Oil Palm is because the Europe and USA didn't want the Oil Palm collapse their dominance in Vegetatif Oil production.

Yeah but soy producers did agree with a forest destruction moratorium, and palm oil producers rejected the moratorium(look at the Mongabay website).

Now Malaysian companies have destroyed much of their forests, just as Indonesia, and now they target the African forests and the forests in Brazil. I even have seen on TV palm oil producers moving into protected lands.

? But many of the Oil Palm Company now join RSPO (Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil) to get CSPO (Certificate of Sustainable Palm Oil). Its Really Hard to get it. Zero Burning, Enclave the HCVs (High Conservation Values) Area, Waste Management, Community Dev.,etc. We even have to record how much aerosol product we use (hair spray, pylox). Beside RSPO we also already get ISO 14001. We composting the waste to become fertilizer, we dont use pesticide, we use pest natural enemy (Bee for S. Asigna)

And again the breeding research of Oil Palm are extensive. We already can produce 2.5 times more oil per hectare compared to the last decade using our seed from breeding research. In the next five year we would be able to produce Oil Palm Hybrid that would have 10 times of production/Ha compared to now

The higher yield per hectare means it is need smaller land to produce the same amount of oil. Get it? It means we least forest will be destructed. And the higher yield per ha is achieved by oil palm not other. I'm sure by the 2012 we will get the Oil Palm Hybrid so the yield will be 10 times larger. Which means the deforestation will be 10 times smaller.

Ow plz fuck off, Malaysian countries are destroying rainforest everywhere, and are using violence against indigenous people. I saw a program in which the indigenous Penan people of Borneo said the British in colonial times treated them much much better than Malaysia does. They said that the British protected the forest. Malaysia just wants to turn the world to palm plantations, to make quick money.
