I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

@Wiseayr no,Hitler only drove military vehicles from the 40'sand50's.And the only limousine he was ever inside wasn't even a mercedes lmao (plus I don't THINK there was mercedes back at the 40's)
@simasbrother The first Mercedes named vehicles were produced in 1926....and from where did you got that Hitler drove military vehicles from 50s...Hitler died in 1945....
The Danish travel gigant, Simon Spies had one just like this. He call it "Lange Frede" (Long Fred). This is a beautifull car, with many neat details...

@trigliyo Yes, the stretches are like a bad joke that keeps getting repeated, and the joke gets longer each time. Yawn. I can afford to buy a Pullman, just not sure if I can afford to keep it serviced, properly garaged and insured.

Nice limo! I'd much rather have a class ride like this than one of those absurd looking 48-foot Hummer limos. New Money is just Old Money that got away....
I'm in the classic car trade myself and it virtually grinded to a halt overhere in the Netherlands the last few months.
She's a beauty, but you won't sell her in these times for that money and in Europe they (600 Grosse mint condition) auction for less then 75.000 E. Keep her in storage for better times. That's what I do with my Rover 3500 C 1973( beauty as well!), Opel Kapitan 1962 and MB 280 S 1969.
The owner is NOT desperate to sell, thus the asking price is $175,00, not $75,000.

I think this is the very one that used to belong to Josip Broz TITO who was the presedent of SFR Yugoslavia after second ww and up to his death in 1980.
