  • Where do you find all these great photos of native american art?! Google images provide squat for me :(

  • OK plain and simple the U.S Government and all 50 states have hate crime laws etc!

and have charged Nazi with genocide and so on well who is going to bring and charge

the U.S military for same crimes that they have committed against my people.

as my heart is not full of hate but sadness cause they think of us as savages and we

are not they are cause there pockets and there bank accounts are full of blood money then & now plain& simple.

  • Great,,lovely. We will not be living today if it was not for the wisdom of the certain tribes, Masters and Gurus. Deep down in my heart I share the love and the oneness with you.

  • the truth fight is inside , ******

"A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them."

  • the way our country is going we all will one day have to live the way the Native Americans did.there has been so much lost as to how the Native American lived off the land.how many Native Americans can make the clothing for hide anymore.

  • Though my skin is pale, my Ancestors have not forsaken me, and when I listen to the songs that Spirit knows, I am one with all things and pray that we can all come to the oneness that our Mother needs for the Healing that must occur to save her....

  • Isn't that the funny thing though? That people learn only after it is too late...

  • ahi mitakuye oysim-All my relations

  • very nice

  • I agree with Ashenfly and longlostguitarhero....We need to honor and learn from our native americans people. Have you gone to a sweatlodge? Have you invited an native american in your home? I believe in giving back honor and do those things to honor them what we have taken away from them.

  • @amberdavis679 You are an idiot who hasn't evolved. The elite, uber rich White male, is a cancer to the earth... Have you ever heard of the dark age? - original man never lived in such filth and squalor until europeans tried to conquer the earth How about MATH? or the Zero, or celestials? Natives and ALL darker skinned people new about that stuff much earlier than the lacking of pigment "white person". I feel sorry foy you... may the creator show you the light...

  • I am Russian, therefore sorry for my bad English. This song brings me to tears, too. I hate myself for white skin and grey eyes. I will always be ashamed of I am - white. Although I am not an Indian, I will love and respect this proud and noble people untile my last days.

  • @Margaret564 You do not have to be ashamed of who you are, it was not you who did all of those things, what you can do is remember them keep their spirits alive that is how to honor the lives lost, but never hate yourself for something you did not do..

  • Im a native american who now lives in Ohio & i was adopted by white parents at the age of 1. I am 37 now & although I love my foster parents very much, as a teenager i was really angry with my original parents for abondoning me. But after doing some heavy research a few years ago i realised that they had to give me away for my own saftey. I also discovered that my real parents & the rest of their tribe were shot dead a few days later by savages. Im a proud sioux and this song brings me to tears

  • Walking the red road...Proud to be Abenaki and Huron!

  • @DeathShamans

That was a frighteningly beautiful comment.

  • I like this a lot...

  • one love

  • it is so hurtful to me to all the native americans to think about how the natives loved the whites and took care of them and then they are betrayed. killed, raped, starved, and torchered. every time ithink about maybe some ancestor of mine who was probably wronged to im infuriated.

  • What a wonderful, noble, spiritual people. I really like this song. thank you. :]

  • Thank you for this beautiful work. Even though I may only be part Native American, I am a Native American, and wolf, at heart.

  • @Flamewarrior1x we may change but.......the heart, the spirit .the soul stay the same!!!... ;)

  • A beautiful blend of imagery for one of my favorite pieces of music. THANK YOU

  • Absolutely beautiful, thank you so much from maggie in Australia.I hope to travel soon and see this beautiful culture.

  • I will fight no more // Peter Kater, R. Carlos Nakai // How the West Was Lost, 1993

  • AMAZING

    thank you

  • So, if I may ask from you and your people of which I am remotely a part (my great grandfather was pure blooded Cherokee, not found these days anymore much to my heartache), is this an actual American Indian chant? What is its meaning? Is it a chant to a spirit, or is it telling a story, etc?

    Thank Much!

  • In 1993, the Discovery Channel aired a six-hour miniseries documenting the experience of the Native Americans during America's westward expansion. Peter Kater created a three-hour score for How the West Was Lost. He captured 65 minutes of his favorites for the CD. His friend R. Carlos Nakai co-wrote many of the pieces and is one of the featured musicians. This is deep, soulful, and mournful music. Kater and Nakai celebrate nothing. They lament the loss of culture and heritage. ~ Jim Brenholts

  • soul sickness is everywhere. Thanks for this video a pure blessing.

  • im in australia and ever i agree with that, the native american culture is the greatest of all the native cultures in the world. sorry to sound racist but the natives in this country are shit compaired to the noble spirit of the native american indians.

  • @striderman31 I am a red man and don't say that brother because I am sure that is exactly what they said when they massacre my great grandfathers. We must respect all and value all :)

  • You deserve it guys...more than anything. Rest of world will never forget about that. Protect your beautiful, old and unique culture, and you will all last longer than this nowadays so-called-civilization. Greetings from poland!

  • this song is beautiful thank you blessings to you

  • until we lay down the violent sword of our tongue; find commonality in our plight, instead of differences, nothing will change.

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there."

    Rumi

  • How sad that we have lost our care for our own home earth. Truly sad... how the want for money has distracted us from what is truly important.

  • \m/ This melody make me feel wishes to yowl from this ocean with my endless feelings... Esta melodía me provoca sentir deseos de aullar desde este océano con mis infinitos sentimientos...
  • The sins of the fathers pasted down from generation to generation. Wake up!!! I want a Native American President. I am so sick of the bullshit. It is high time to clean the stables.

  • So, if my great grandpa was Adolf Hitler, I should go to prison? I should be put to death? One argument some jackass tried to use on me was "do you claim the freedom brought by your forefathers? Then you have to bear the scars of what they did." I claim no such thing. I mean neither of them. I'm an Infantryman in the US Army. Freedom is MY work. My forefathers may have fought for it, but so do I, so I claim the freedom I fought for. I'm not bound to that crap. Sins do not pass down the line.

  • @ashenfly, You say "we" as if you were the natives fighting for theyre women and children. and you say it as if it is pointless when it was not. If a man came to kill your wife and family, would you stand and not fight? dont think so. There were very few battles between natives. So please just dont talk as if you know so much. Becaus people who say "we" killed eachother in pointless wars before white people came. You dont understand a single thing about fighting back then.

  • It is...almost scary. how hard it is. to be as pure as my ancestors that walked the earth before white people plagued them. No offence to theyre race. Only theyre gandparents and elders who raped and destroyed our sacred land. Poisend the rivers that were once so pure. and unforgetably. took the lives of many natives. who they should be learning from.. not discracing

  • yes,tht is true,i often think about what what the europeans,my race, have done to your people, and not only,i still wonder what was the purpose to destroy tht great civilisation, and other civilisations too...i have read about native american's history, and the crimes tht were done against your people are terrifying,i wonder if those who made them were really humans...what humanbeing bite the hand tht once helped you?a great guilt is upon us,brought by our forefathers...

  • @Ashenfly I know, right? We were just fine killing each other in pointless wars over land before the white man came and made us fight them, too....

  • @Ashenfly i am from sweden and I love learning and peace (Im not a hippi)

    like your comments

I cant change the history but if I could I would chang that and learnfrom your ansestors thx if you answer me sone thx

love the nature the wolfs and all outher animals on the planet exept from some people who think they rule the world

  • @ivormunker I am Mayan and remember this we are all brothers just like my Hopi grandfathers have said we are still all brothers and sons of the same mother. We can't change the past but what we need to do now is change the present, I'm tired of fighting all I want to do now is live and die with my grandfathers.

  • @Ashenfly So right, (coming from a white dude ;)

  • @markieju Im half white lol, Half native(:

  • @Ashenfly Dago te What they did can never be forgotten Always remember never forget .They killed raped and tortured people who where willing to live in peace with the white man but they where so fulf of greed;Im white and european its nothing to be proud of .They are still trying to destroy the rivers still trying to wipe the nations out but they shall and are rising again My world is with my ndn friends who i would die for many blessings

  • @Ashenfly I may be white but I hear ya. My Great Grandmother was on the Trail of Tears and here lately I have been questioning everything I have been taught. I sometimes wonder what my great grandmother would have said to me in some of the situations I have been in in my life.

  • @Ashenfly natives of this land knew beforehand that there was going to be an influx of all kinds of different races. It was agreed upon by all tribes, and yet we did not like the people coming. They saw our ways and they didn't understand, and therefore became afraid, and then angry. In a way the red race in more in tune with the Earth, and that is why the white man choose to kill what they felt was better. Now it's time to heal and live in harmony with people just like we did with the Earth

  • @Ashenfly Not all the white men did so. The early ones lived with and alongside the natives and learned the old ways. It wasn't until the greedy came with their corporations and syndicates and lying manipulation of the population that the true destruction began and it still goes on today. Though not full Cherokee I learned much from my Grandmother and will regret forever that I did not have the opportunity learn and live the old ways.

  • As a white man from England I hope you do, because all the way through history we have done the opposite of what we have preached, and untimately destroyed everything we touch.

I have made it my business to study the ways of the native americans for a number of years, and the thing that hurts me most is that we set out to kill the 'savages', who we more cilivlised than us; they who we should have learned from.

  • wakan tanan kici un

  • @longlostguitarhero : I AGREE WITH YOU ! AND THE DESTRUCTION OF EVERYTHING THAT IS PURE AND SACRET STILL BEEING DESTROYED BY THE BAD DESCITIONS OF SOME NARROW MAINDED WHITE CHIEFS IN COMAND OF THIS PRESENT NATION !

  • @longlostguitarhero. All throughout history, nations conquered other nations. Only in the last two centuries has that become 'wrong.' How do you think the Native Americans established their boundaries? The Egyptians, the Mongolians, the Turks, all of them invaded and defended.

  • @fromthenorthwest I do not say that it was wrong. I mere;y despise the attitude with which it was done. Many a masacre took place beacuse the white man belived himself above the red man, but if that were really the case, no masacre would have ever taken place.

  • @fromthenorthwest Just because things happen in history does not justify it... Evolve please for the sake of humanity... And LEARN your history... Native americans didn't have boundaries or property, or money, or PROFIT - those are all creations of the europeans and it is all unnecessary... I'm really from the northwest buddy, so get that bullshit from your name, because you don't represent me...

  • @MJDHaro82 Thanks for the laugh

  • @fromthenorthwest Great Take dude...

  • This is so beautiful - thank you so much

  • I 100% agree with you, I hope that one day comes soon.

  • NICE VIDEO.

  • the so-called civilized man kills everything it touches, the wolves already existed before the man and continued to exist after the men disappeared,

as native Americans, are strong, and use your beautiful and true wisdom, teach the world a lot and who does not see this, eh blind and useless, but unfortunately this planet is full of it

someone once said: the planet is not ours, is to borrow for our children

    darkwolf from Portugal

  • I will fight no more..I imagine a wolf kneelings down with its head down surrendering...because it's heart is hurt...that's how I feel...

    So beautiful.

  • I think everyone can feel this song

  • Very beautiful video.Your video shows it all here..how true:)

  • lol we all need to stand up for the earth and destroy what destroys it thats what they would have done thats what we need to do in order to save it the earth is dying and it will kill everything before it goes and it will rebuild its self

  • Musica linda , só pode ser de um povo maravilhoso q nem esse...Você e Eu minha Andreia !!!! te amo

  • what happend to our native way's brother's and sister's we have to keep fighting to survive and we forgot our language and our way's half of us don't no how to survive in the wild no more. that make's me sad

  • that is actually sooo true xxx

  • cool...

  • The singing is beautiful, but this song title disturbs me....

I'd take a shit on Muhammad's face and rape Obama's mama before I stopped fighting

  • Thank you! <3

  • Who sings this song? Just curious.

It's so beautiful, and I, though only 1/6th Cherokee, can honestly say I admire the Native Americans and their beautiful cultures. <3

  • all i can say is thanks

  • kick ass music

  • pure beauty Grate Music

  • So Beautiful and Peaceful!! Thank You. 12*s!!

  • Hmm.... Helps me see deeper then the surface of the pond. Past our reflections on the surface.

Thank you for sharing this touching music:)

  • The deer being stalked by a hungry lion has no right to life. However, he may purchase life by obedience to nature- ordained instincts for vigilance and flight. Similarly, men have no rights to life, liberty or happiness. These circumstances may be purchased by oneself, by ones family, by ones tribe or by ones ancestors, but they are nonetheless purchases and are not rights. Furthermore, the value of these purchases can only be maintained through vigilance and obedience to Natural Law.

  • pure beauty. all I can say for the music

  • thanks

  • There exists no such thing as rights or privileges under the Laws of Nature. Note here that the American Indians are not Native Americans, but are racially Mongolians.

  • How can you pass some hypothesis off as a reality ? Native Americans have nothing in common with Mongolians. They are Native Americans !

  • Are YOU BLIND? Or just stupid....

  • very interesting contribution from you and very good argument really

  • being from a region full of culture myself, native culture always intrigues me. theres something about it...

  • yeah I know what you mean I say there are 1 whit the earth and that is the mistake we make today we dont respect the earht nomore....

  • It is wondeful!

    Thank you

  • I am not native.

as a matter of fact, I'm far from it, being a European. But I can say that the Native Culture (all tribes) is beautiful.

  • Well Obama has won this, and one of the things that democrats focus on is wildlife conservation. So a lot of hope has risen for all american wildlife

  • Well, with what I have planning we may not see the world as a spirit, but the planet will be a paradise for all of our lifeforms

  • Beautiful video, thanks for sharing.

  • Beg your pardon, but what do you mean "spirit gone"?

  • Maybe they are referring to the fact that we don;t have the mind set to see the earth as a spirit and we continue to exploit it for it's resources.

  • you're right, native americans were true americans, me, I could never forgive my ancestors for what they did

  • I just couldn't switch the video.

I have realised how huge respect I have for native Americans. True Americans...

  • Do any of you think that someday the bond between us humans and the wild creatures of this planet can continue?

  • wow great video

  • the picture at number 10 is soooooo awesome

  • Beautiful chanting of Indian song and the love of mother earth and wolves such a wonderful animal. Paino is so smoothing with the flute. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you for sharing this with me sweetpea027

  • The day comes not to far from now. The day the Natives call The Great Purification. To all of those who have wronged the Mother of us all, you will be punished for your sins. Killing off the spirit of the wolf, the buffalo, the eagle, the bear, this land will be cleansed once and for all. Howlingwolf

  • It makes me sad that we humans, brothers and sisters of these tribes, wiped them out. Through killing and blood so many tribes all over the world were destroyed and never heard of again. Its disgusting to think that its part of a human desire to kill and rule brutally. I can't find the words. I guess this video has to speak for me :)

  • beautiful..pete

  • native pride very sad song make's me think of my my brother danny mckenzie he died in edmonton on march 21 2008 im his brother archie mckenzie

  • touching very touching thank you

    joanie

  • The North American Natives were the greatest people in the world. What's happening to thier memory?

  • I am in one time filled with peace and anger.. Peace, because of the music and beautiful pictures. Anger, because what the European-Americans have done to such beautifull cultures, landscapes and animals

  • this was brilliant

  • Thank you for sharing this beautiful video and this Music with the FLute..a moment of peace..

  • Amazing. If this doesn't speak to your heart, then nothing will.

  • Beautiful ! thank you for sharing !

  • love the video.

  • :'(

  • what song is that?

  • it's good not to say anything ... but listen how and what it was... after all it's the inside heart... of one who really fulfilled ... and gone through what is suppose to be done... God Bless thy brave heart...
