absolutely. All jellyfishes are venomous. but they vary in there ability to sting, as they have different sizes of stinging cells. The Cubozoans "box jellyies" have the strongest Venom and the some of the longer Stinging cells which makes them especially dangerous. Others may of equaly deadly venom but shorter Stinging cells "nematocysts" or Longer Stinging cells with Less potent venom. This particular jelly offers Long Nematocysts with moderate venom.

It's amazing to realize what is happening below the surface of the sea. Once I was burnt by a gellyfish, but this one is not frightful and the crab seems to have found a comfortable place. Thanks Cheryl for sharing!
