I believe you're right that we can't fool god. I have not had any kind of signs, revalations, images in sandwiches or other kinds of personal evidence that god exists. All so called evidence I've seen from christians has been weak and very unconvincing.

How about this - what will YOU do when the Death Star comes around and blows up earth? What if raindrops magically turn into bricks one day? What will you do when leprechauns locate weapons of mass destruction and get even for all the gold we stole from them? All are just as likely to happen as your rapture. Fantasy stories don't hold weight with thinkers.

We know it's all natural, and we can describe exactly how these things work - we just can't go back before the big bang because there's no evidence in space to show us what it was like. We have insurmountable evidence that it happened, with the way everything in space is still moving away from a starting point. Whether a god triggered it we can't know, no god has ever interacted with reality.
