Matt.22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (1st 2nd 3rd and 4th commandments are in the 1st, as Jesus died He put these into our hearts and minds) This is the 1st and great commandment.
And the 2nd is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (5th 6th 7th 8th 9th and 10th) On these 2 commandments hang all the law and prophets. (by His grace if we fall under His law He restores us).
It is sad that so many ignore Christ's laws of love. Some say that Christ did away with His laws. I will pray that their minds will be turned to His truths.
2Jn.6 And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Heb.7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by which we draw nigh unto God.
Our Saviour is the same yesterday, today, and for ever, and I trust Him.
As we follow Yahshua home, He has given us His character in His10 commandments 2 follow in every step that He himself followed. 1st 4 are how He wants us to worship Him, and the last 6 are how we are to love our brothers and sisters. I just do not understand someone that says that they love Yahshua and yet refuse to obey what He is telling us. I choose to follow what Yahshua is telling me.
