Folks, it really makes sense. How can a pompous, exalted religious figure properly represent Jesus? This is clearly a misrepresentation of God. The Holy Spirit is our connection to God, not any man. Sackcloth was a garment worn in mourning. The Two Witnesses in Scripture is the OLD and NEW TESTAMENTS of the Bible. During the reign of papal Rome, the Bible was listed as forbidden to the laity. Christians were burned for owning a Bible. The time allotted is NOT talking about 3 ½ years, but the same 1,260 years mentioned previously. It is also mentioned in Rev 12.

The beast is the papacy. The mark of the beast is Sunday. Soon the second beast (USA) will make an image of the first.

Papal Rome use the state to impose church laws. This "image" will be made in the USA. We too will us ethe state to impose a law of the Papal Church. A Sunday law, in contradiction to the law of God.

There are many gifts given by the Holy Spirit - Tongues, discernment, prophecy, healing, etc. To say one must talk in tongues in order to receive the Holy Spirit is false. 100% false! God gives each one of us talents of one kind or another, and there is no prerequisite to receive the Holy Spirit other than to accept Christ through faith, and then we are baptized.

Elitism means you must be part of a special denomination or special group. Just not true at all.

I think that church history may have a lot to do with when end times come about.

I mean early on in the times of the mashiach the faith was perfect. Than paganism began to plague it, and it really became a pagan religion mixed with 'christianity.' This led to the Catholic Church, or the beast system, and then the Protestans shed off SOME of the falsehoods of catholicism. Then SDA's revealed a lot of good biblical truths, and now we're in the process of returning the faith to what it is;jewish.

That's exactly what he's saying. Remember, Jesus said he would come when you don't expect it. We would expect his coming if there were a three and a half year tribulation preceding it, don't you think? No, he can return at any time. The time of Great Tribulation has been over since the Papacy lost much of it's power. Since then we've had two world wars and other catastrophes, we are now in times of judgement, not tribulation.

I agree. Conclusions that were formed here could be said of many eras. The persecution of Christians was pretty steady on since the first century ad founding of the faith, and there were many who distorted.

This may or may not be true. However, no one single prophecy is and of itself conclusive. Prophecy must be taken in its totality. When we study history, apply the traits of the Harlot church system, time factors, it boils down to one institution - The Roman Catholic church.

Understand it is not the average Roman Catholic person going to mass every week, but the hierarchy that stands indicted by God for teaching lies and leading people into eternal damnation.
