  • I love how the ((HORNS)) are crammed up against the radiator fans! :-O

  • Did anyone else notice the two different colored number boards? One black & one white.

  • Is this an ex-Soo Line SD40-2? I notice it has the little extension over the pilot that was a Soo Line thing since the early 70's. It also doesn't have the Canadian handrails at the stepwells.

  • Excellent 10/10

  • Its a shame that just about every Soo SD40-2 is in hump service, even though the 66XX series were some of the last SD40-2s built.

    Nice video!

  • What a long train.

  • it s a shame they quit making them one of the best engines ever built

  • They must not be too many sd40-2's left thanks to those bastards AC4400CW and ES44AC. IF any were to remain they have to be pusher units or sold off to shortline railway's and that's it.

  • It would be fun to mount a camera on the ceiling of one of the spiral tunnels and see how little clearance there is when these stacked sea cans go through.

  • The engine sound is approximately the same as GT 26 engine.

  • Love that engine!!

  • nice shot.

  • Great sound, and then the fact that that is an Ex SOO SD40-2!

  • aw, i wish they hadnt repainted the SOO engines, i love that paint scheme!

  • ---lionel canadian pacific GP-38-2 [rare]--- only on Ebay
