@gee1234567890 I have worked my ass off to make any money I have. I'm only 14 and my parents want me to WORK to for my things, so that I have some respect for the things I own. I haven't gotten handed much of anything except basic necessities a kid needs (Food, clothes, etc.) All the extras (Xbox, computer, tv, etc) I have worked to get the money to buy these things. And you get this kid who gets handed a $1,700 computer. Spoiled.

Hi Tom! My husband & I R going to buy an iMac 27". I'm very excited. Could not find a good review on it, just unboxings. I thank U for your review. I now feel better about my choice. I didn't know a thing about the on off switch. Good Tip! Why is it in that location, its beyond me, but at least, i know where i can find it now. I have subscribed & I will be watching 4 future videos from U. Now I must decide to get either iWorks or Microsoft office 4 the iMac. Thanks Tom! U have helped me so much!

Hey Tom! I think our presents were mixed up...

I upgraded from a 17" ppc Powerbook late last year and opted for a lower spec mac mini and upgraded the ram to 4gb myself and additionally bought an hd Samsung SyncMaster T240.

It's basically a poorman's version of the iMac but i've been really happy with the result.

But you're right about the spec on this and the way technology is going. With the full 4gb of ram i still feel a drag now and again. 16gb i'd love!!!

i think it is better to buy a tower desktop, mostly because there is no contest in speed, but also because of the PCI slots. if i were given the choice between an alienware desktop, a Mac Pro (both stock ) and an iMac 27 inch, i would definitiely choose the Mac Pro

I have the exact same iMac with the smaller display (21/5) and absolutely love it! Although I agree with you about the power button, the placement is a little odd. I have pressed it a couple times by accident whilst just trying to turn the screen around lol!

Alzheimer's disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, Huntington's disease, Progressive supranuclear palsy, Multisystem atrophy, Wilson's disease, Corticobasal degeneration.

IMHO it's not polite to say hurt when someone has a disability that they did not ask to be born with.

Tom is absolutely brilliant in many ways and if only half the people I knew had his effort and determination. And yes, I know you're not trying to be funny.
