Man can not make himself born again, but if you can repent and believe you've been born again already 1 John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
@Imaginefree69 no that doesn't mean that. Being born again means that once you sin, you will rise back. And yes you try to make every effort to not sin but it says in the Bible "If we confess our sins, then He is faithful and just to forgive us, and to cleanse us for all of our unrighteousness."
thank you very much for posting!!! i have really deep faith in god, iam hindu, but from my childhood, whenever i see face of "Jesus christ" it looks so calm and quiet, i always like to hear what anyone has to say about!! bad or good!! and most of things when i heard about jesus!!! i found there are great similarities of thoughts, between chritianity and hinduism and we will come to know, that there is some great connection...
Thanks. I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. On September 14, we celebrated Holy Cross Day. John 3: 13-17 was the Gospel of the Day. When we used the Lutheran Book of Worship, the HCD Gospel was John 12: 20-33 (Jesus and the Greeks). Just thought I'd share.

So you are saying that you can not sin?
Is that correct?

Being born of god means that you can not sin.
How's that working out for you so far?
