I have listened to the Cunnigham brothers for years, but this woman has definetly made Phil's riffs sound more feminine. She plays certain bars of the score with more delicate touches. Thumbs up from me.
In case anyone's wondering, the first tune is called "The Girls At Martinfield," as I've heard it called, anyway. Wonderful, wonderful playing. Made me dance!
I was at a workshop with Phil, and he said this tune (the first one) came out of an exercise down the keyboard he was doing while recovering from a hand injury (to get the strength back in his hand).
I really like this recording :-) I'm a big Phil C. fan and she plays his tunes so brilliantly. I'm fascinated how she still manages to put a feminine touch to it, while playing so fast. Very cool, thanks for posting!
@funnyAnna For those of us who have had the pleasure of listening to you play Anna,it is very obvious that you are a huge fan of Phils :) and long may you continue to be so.
