i grew up in a city much much larger than toronto and until i moved out, i didnt know how bad i got it.
those cities are too congested, air is so filthy, streets dirty and people are so rude (i was one of them)
you can't really drive around enjoy anywhere in those city because traffic jam means you are stuck in a place for 3 hrs if you are unlucky. drivers are cutthroat and this breeds assholeness in you when you drive.
i like toronto. pretty much everything. well except winter.
i live in toronto and it's clean, safe and people are very humble, relaxed and generally nice.
alot of other canadians think torontonians are rude but compared to other major big cities around the world, people in toronto are so nice. (sorry but canada has only 1 major city, toronto. everything else is just small nice cities)
I live in the core of Toronto, it is amazing and wouldn't live anywhere eles in the world...it's safe, clean and have culture. I've enjoyed it for over 35 years.

nice video; thanx for the post and nice songs... what are they?? i wud love to hear them again in my car stereo while cruising on a highway haha if u know wat i mean. its definitely made for that stuff. thanx
@RobJohnB95 Generally it's not that bad unless it is at rush hour (in which case traffic comes to a standstill on many streets). The video was made right after a major street was reopened to traffic following a festival. However, significant amounts of traffic are always present until fairly late in the evening. As you get further from downtown, traffic gets lighter (in the evening).
i've been to toronto a handful of times in my life and have always had this surreal mystical fascination with it... i miss it more and more each time!
Dude i love this city sao much so Agricultural compared to the other cities like New York, NYC is nothing compared to T-Dot we have a better future ahead of us then NYC according to our population every 5 years our population is increasing by another 2million people its amazing we can be a better city then NYC or LA or Any other city in this world that are very hard to contend with.
It's nice to have pride in your city and all, but let's not get carried away with the 'We're so much better than New York City' rhetoric. Try living, or even spending substantial time in NYC before you get making statements like that.
Man I want to see Toronto or maybe even live there. I live in downtown Houston, texas and I love it here but I want to see Toronto in real life one day to make my decision
@dayboyy24 I live near Toronto and want to visit Texas. Toronto is so awesome. So much to see, art, music, food, entertainment, cn tower, harbour front, the luxury condos, everything.
Moving to Toronto is a dream for me....but i still hope that i'll get to visit it at least during my lifetime...hope you know how lucky u are if u live there...T.O. FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!
I know I was born there and then we moved out to the country, I had no say in this because it was my parents decision. I miss Toronto SO much and I plan on moving back there after school. Toronto is my home.
i got driven through downtown, from one end and out the other and it was a pretty quick drive... a shame i didnt see it on foot then it'd appear bigger!
I recommend going to a tranel site and look at a slower view of our beautiful,on the lake, T.O.
many wonderful areas to move into...you will not be disappointed...T.O. went and grew up on us all, real quick in the last 40 years...you'll love her like your own...
Nice work! Great to see the tram lines.. reminds me of driving around Melbourne CBD (downtown). Though, to do a far-turn (left turn for you guys) in Melbourne (like @2:20), you'd get into the far-right lane, sit across the intersection, and then turn across the traffic and tram lines when the traffic signals change... it's called a "hook" turn.
Thanks for the comment! Hehe yeah I have heard of these hook turns before :) On many of these streets with tram lines left turns are not allowed during rush hour, although on others (like Spadina Ave. in the video) the trams travel in the central reservation, and therefore there are dedicated left turn signals for cars.

What time was this recorded at?
sega31098 2 years ago
Around 10pm, if I recall correctly. This was shortly after Yonge street was reopened following a festival, which probably contributed to the traffic.
