@DarkLadySnape It's pretty hard to find, but if you're looking for it based on the year it came out than you won't have much luck searching in 2003. The remake was done in 1996 or 97.

Kubrick's movie is a movie to be taken for itself, not like other movies where you need to read the book first to enjoy them fully. I haven't read the book, but in itself, as a Kubrick movie, Shining is a friggin masterpiece.
