"we understand death for the first time when he puts his hand upon one whom we love." ~Madame de Stael
it is two years today that mike sr traded seafaring the great seas to watching over us from the heavens. he always said the stars could bring us to the same place if we looked above at the same time ... today our children, daughter-in-law and grandbabies stood together as he left us on this day two years ago ~ never to forget, foever to love and always to honor ~❤~
though to many this may mark the moment that mike was here and then immediately gone ~ i live and see him every single day in my children ... thank you to all who has stood beside my small family - our children - mike's and my children this past year ~ mike thanks you ... you being there with us and for us made it a little easier ♥
This is a great video. This man was like an uncle to me. My dad definitely considered him to be his brother. It has been about 10 months since Mike left this Earth and I still shed a tear everytime I think about him. In the slideshow you can see my dad, sister, and me. I love you and miss you so much Michael and I will NEVER forget you. especially those times when you would hold me as a little girl and say "ozzyyy!" haha Rest in Peace and watch over your children and those who love you. :)<3
Brad, I do not know who you are, but you did a beautiful job. I have known Mike since I was a child and seeing this I will never forget what a great person he was and what a great friend he was to my brother Joe.
Dear Brad ... Thank you for the beautiful tribute to Mike. My children and I will forever find comfort in viewing it. Thank you to you, Jenni and Christopher - you are true blue friends. We thank you and we love you!
