Change gear at 3800RPM will drop you into the meat of the Torque band, this 5 cylinder likes revs more than most but you gain nothing from running into the governer at 4500rpm - Use the Torque!!

io ho una lancia K 2.4 JTD 20v che poveretta ormai ha 233000 km...appena comprata le avevamo fatto installare una centralina aggiuntiva...e se nn mi sbaglio era arrivata a 165 o 170 cv...nonostante il peso e tt i km che ha il motore spinge ancora molto bene!!!e bisogna anche contare che la concezione di quel motore è di metà anni '90...x essere un turbodiesel x quegli anni era 1 bomba!!!

Diesel burns more slowly than petrol. There isn't enough time for it to get burned fully at speeds over around 4500rpm

The MAX power of this car is engaged at 4000/4100 rpm. After that is useless the aceleration! So Reving at 4000 is not bad (in my opinion). Reving at 4.500 (as you show in video) is bad!

This car is after chip tuning it has MAX power more than 4000 RPM around 4200-4300 RPM.

Good aceleration(In my opinion) JTD rlz!

What you say it's true but if the maximum power is at 4100rmp iyou will have the maximum performance if you change at 4.300 for example that way when you change gear you will be at 3900 and you will stay closer to the maximum power range

yesterday i timed the sprint from 0-100km/h again with snow tyres and the result was 7.57 seconds. for a car with 192.000 kilometers, i think it is not very bad!

lo so ke è una bomba, anke io ho la 156 2.4jtd, ma è inutile sforzare troppo il motore perchè perde troppo coppia...
