The city council should watch these videos. Maybe they will learn something. Kellar is the only one who listens. Ferry doesn't get it, so lets get him out next election. Continues to talk down to us. The rest need to go too. Proven records past and present that they JUST DO NOT CARE or listen to the Citizens of Santa Clarita, only the Developers of Santa Clarita. Its all about money.
Hi Craig - No doubt you're available these days but I don't need your market data, thanks. We all know doctors need offices, but your vacancy argument is off topic. Providence Holy Cross is adding new MOBs for its expansion six miles away in Porter Ranch. So, WTF?
And please, G&L is NOT contributing $100 million to our hospital. That money is only going to their office buildings. Period. In fact, they are not even adequately paying for mitigation! This is ALL cost, no benefit.
If the "cancer doc" wants a hospital expansion he should be demanding a guarantee for the expansion from G&L and Roger Seaver. As Corgi Heaven stated, he should demand that G&L remove the clause from the Development Agreement that says G&L does not have to build the hospital expansion. Again, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why G&L keeps that clause. Mayor Bob Kellar gets it, and gets a lots more. Care to tell us why Bob Kellar's opposition to G&L is wrong, Mr. Peters, 2 incher?
Mr. Peters, there are signs all over advertising office space and medical office space.
G&L and Roger Seaver will not guarantee a hospital expansion. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why.
Our City Council opposed Las Lomas and The Avenue at Santa Clarita was even bigger than Las Lomas.
City Council voted no on the MRF when they were presented with all the facts. The MRF "didn't happen" ONLY because of community involvement opposing the project. Same with The Avenue.
Next, the Smiser project is not gone it is suspended! With the first Smiser project proposal being 6 times larger than Los Lomas it makes it very questiionable as to why the city would consider the Smiser project and oppose Los Lomas.
The question is, Why don't they remove the clause from the Development Agreement that says, they Do Not have to build the hospital expansion. We Need A Guarantee! Why don't you?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
NAFF, what do you have to say today to the Cancer doc (letter in Mighty Signal) that WANTS the hospital expansion? Is he too in the pocket of G&L? Do you want to discount HIS opinions too because they don't agree with yours? Why do you continue to focus on things that have never happened, e.g Smizer project, MRF on Sierra, the conspiracy theory that lurks around every oak tree?
Mr. Peters, it may surprise you that not everyone is interested in fawning over your self assumed brilliance.
Consider this: you expect City Hall to strictly comply with parking guidelines (despite serious shortages at HM) yet existing building codes are irrelevant and hazardous to your pet project.
And one more thing Mr. Peters, I suggest that you review this video one more time & take careful note of your very own comments towards those who oppose your view of G & L's office expansion project at Henry Mayo's campus. You'll see & hear that is where the name calling began by none other than yourself.
Still no contact from NFF, scvDelilah or SCV411 to set up a time to meet and review the market information on every building available in Valencia. I'm available to meet with you at any time to insure that you have all of the market information. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thanks.

Mr. Peters, don't you know that we've all seen City Hall's "developer friendly" actions, so we already know that they are supporting your position. Frankly, I am surprised at your reaction to this video when your team is sitting in the driver's seat. By the way, I see that your 39,935 sq.ft. lease sign at McBean & Old Ranch Road is still in place though you report that there is no actual space for lease there. What is your removal ECD?
Sorry that facts anger or intimidate you so much that you turn to personal attacks and name calling. Since I'm not afraid to use my name and you two obviously are, please contact me so we can meet and review the market information together. We can review available space in each MOB in Valencia (existing & under construction). My assumption is that you actually want to know the facts. And no, the City does not allow medical in general office space parked at 4/1000 regardless of availability.
Mr. Peters, Mr. Peters, Mr. Peters... the 39,935sq.ft. leasd sign was purposefully shown twice - first to clearly show your name on the sign & 2nd to show location. With the tremendous availability of SCV ofc space, your comment here is quite trivial. Our city has a shortage of parking space all over town and you're telling us City Hall would now prevent using existing ofc space for medical use over a few parking spaces!? Get real! You are once again quibbling over a very minor issue.
The info I provided at Council is correct. Your info is NOT correct. You show a 39,935 sf medical building twice at McBean & NRR. It was leased to SCOI before the Council mtg. We don't update signs immediately. Currently, there is a 488 sf suite available. City code requires 5 cars per 1,000 sf parkign for medical office. General office, like 8 of the bldgs you show, are parked at 4/1000 so can't be used for medical. You should actually do some research before you try to impeach testimony.
Craig, you are SUCH a dolt. If you want to pick apart facts, you should count the 1000s of sqft of MOB space nearing completion; our vacancy rate will be ~20% within the next year. Also, you tired, pompous ass, try using quotes on your "Medical Center of Excellence" search - it yields 322 hits on Google, not millions. They don't teach no boolean searches at Princeton?
Thanks for being the realtor expert we needed to help us understand the importance of G&L's medical office project.
So Mr. Peters, why is your lease sign for 39,935 sq.ft. medical office space on McBean still there? And since you are ready to debate, why not simply direct us to the City's parking requirement that backs up your arguement. And why did you not come clean on all of the local available space at that City Council Public Hearing? You could have easily saved me so much time from creating this very cool video.
Clearly, the opponents of the Hospital's plan continue to distort the truth. EIGHT of pics of available buildings shown are of general office buildings which can't accommodate medical uses due to City parking requirements. Also, the same medical building is shown twice (39,935 sf at McBean & NRR) which was leased to SCOI before the Council mtg. If you would like to debate available MOB space with me at the next Council meeting, I'll be there. Otherwise, please get your facts straight.
2 incher, if you are going to address me by something other than Delilah, Della would be appropriate. And you have yet to offer aything other than anger and insults, so why bother to keep coming back when you bring nothing that proves us wrong. As for doctors needing to be on Henry Mayo's campus, well, that is a non-issue for the many doctos that practice at many other hospitals, as most do. Show us G&L's guarantee that they ever intended to build a hospital. Della.
Mr. TBB, you really should try to calm yourself... considering your waist size, stress could be detrimental to your health and your mental health. By the way, you've never filled us in on the great "things" that you make happen.
My GOD you losers are morons! Pauline, you don't have an IQ over 50, how would you know what the project is about? For clarification, you can call me TBB 2incher, its reflective of my name and my appendage size! Craig Peters knows his stuff! He also knows that drs. want to be in walking distance of their hospital, not 3 miles away! Not that you would know anything about how the medical business works, why would you? Keep making the stupid vidoes-it's reflective of your lack of knowledge.
Mr. TBB, are you not the least bit disturbed that Craig Peters publicly stated that there's barely NO office space available in SCV when in reality there's an ABUNDANCE of of available space near Henry Mayo Hospital?
Don't know why you are using names, there is no "Pauline" posting here. Should posters here address YOU by some familiar G&L lobbyist names, "2 incher?"
Of course a hospital expansion is needed, but WHERE'S THE GUARANTEE that will ever happen? All this project was ever about was building medical buildings and anyone with an IQ over 50 knows that. Craig Peters "speaking his mind" is about as relevant as the chatter of a magpie, as this video clearly shows. Thank God for Mayor Bob Kellar!
Craig Peters speaks his mind and you slam him? Are you the only one who gets to speak your mind? He truly cares about this community and like the majority of people here, WANTS the hospital/building expansion because it is needed! You don't get it Pauline, you are out of touch, and ineffective; what have you ever accomplished here? N O T H I N G!!!! that's what!
I wonder what kind of deal Craig has with G&L to get those MOB suites rented? Craig knows as much about hospital administration and health care as the car dealer knows, LOL.
Yeah, Frank, that's your problem, you NEVER get it. You stopped being a voice for the people years ago and you and Laurie Ender are only there to make sure developer interests are protected, even if such interests are harmful to this city and to the residents.
The city council should watch these videos. Maybe they will learn something. Kellar is the only one who listens. Ferry doesn't get it, so lets get him out next election. Continues to talk down to us. Logical SCV residents DO want the hospital expansion, just not all the fluff that makes the project raise the fur on our backs.
