@elfelux yeah but still, like 2 bands created an entire genre basically, thats still pretty crazy to think that only a couple of bands created a whole genre basically and like literally hundreds of other bands, crazy to think about... :)

@elfelux Yes, it is true that Blink were inspired by Descendants, Screeching Weasel, The Cure, etc. but all of todays pop punk bands were only really inspired by "1997 onwards Blink". Blink's earlier stuff was faster, cruder, messier, basically just traditional true punk. Theres very little modern punk bands that play like pre-Dude Ranch Blink, or The Descendants, etc. Well, thats my opinion anyway.

Like Blink's last 3 albums were what would have inspired modern pop punk bands, whereas there are very few modern pop punk bands that play like the stuff from Cheshire Cat, Buddha, Short Bus, They Came From Uranus, you know, all of the older blink albums and ep's and whatnot.

@elfelux Well I haven't got a physical copy, thats for sure. They only have 2 songs on the ep and then theres like 2 songs by a different band (i can't remember what they're called) on there, also, its like a split ep or whatever. The 2 songs are Wasting Time and Does My Breath Smell which are already on Cheshire Cat anyways, so.... Nothing we haven't heard before.
