To further clear it up, Ripper was only with Iced Earth for about four years, from 2003 to 2007. The Dark Saga was released in 96, the year after Barlow originally joined the ban.

I disagree with those who say the video is crappy: it actually fits quite well to the mood of the song (a Dampyr *is* a slave to the dark), and is very timed with the music itself (take the Dampyr's cry when Barlow screams).

Needless to say, the song is a masterpiece... one of my all time favourites.
