Like having a judges booth (i.e. survivor the reality show). That way judges aren't gonna be scared to give their honest opinion, and there will be no more copy-cat judging (i.e. one judge says one thing, and the next one repeats, etc).

Seems relatively simple.

All of the issues you listed would not be a factor to a person who's at home judging the battle from their computer. They are able to be totally subjective.

Try making it so judges are able to give their honest opinions, without having all eyes on them.
