Agriculture is Imperialism. Our species has no right to destroy wild environments and natural ecosystems in order to dominate the globe with any form of agriculture. The biodiversity of our planet is our wealth and if humankind destroy/displace all organisms not related to the feeding of an infinite human population, we will reap the catastrophe we have sown.
The idea behind this is good but this a bit too commercial. He's selling a product. If the subject of harvesting water in the soil is of interest to you, look into P. A. Yeomans and his keyline design technique often used in Permaculture. A basic technique to help get water in the soil is not to turn it and direct seeding trough residues or mulch. The less you destroy the structure of the soil, the better you soil is able to retain water and fertility. Swales are also great for water harvesting.
