p.s would u please consider maybe making ur vieos public so they can be posted on our pages such as faceboook? i have a group for my son and would liek to share your vids, because it helps ppl better understand, if not....thank you anyways :)
hey, this is trents mom,how can you tell the difference in this seizure and an absence-tonic clonic or an absence- myo-clonic?they are so similar, its hard to tell the difference.
i'm sorry i dodnt see a myoclonic seizure there...my daughter used to have like 20 a day and they are very clear jerks. if your child is suffering from them i am sorry it is not easy to deal with or control...good luck to you
They happened more when his hand was in the air. Look at his other videos, they clearly show myoclonics. Sean also has tonic clonics, tonics, drops, sleep myoclonus, pattern trigger seizures, absences and atypical absences all of which occur on a daily basis. Sean has over 100 seizures a day easy. We are up to 51 tonic clonics (Grand mals) alone in the past 12 days. I cant count his myos as he has too many. He has also been on 12 different meds with none helping at all.
poor little guy. i'm sorry to hear about all his troubles. my daughter's doc put her on sodium valproate and clobozam and it helped alot. everytime she would have a cluster of seizures we would have to take her to the hospital and they would have to give her heavy drugs to stop them. she is on the highest dose of these meds that she can be to help control them. good luck with everything and i hope you guys find some peace soon
