Late term abortions are sad. We should promote comprehensive sex education so that ALL sexually active young women can choose an effective means of birth control. Women should decide at the beginning of each sexual relationship whether or not abortion is a viable option for them if an unplanned pregnancy occurs, and they should have them as early as possible (RU486). Im sure it is much less traumatic to abort an embryo than it is to have what is essentially a induced stillbirth.

Actually, I know a woman who considered abortion, because her circumstances were so bad. But she had the baby anyway. She was mentally ill, and while she was hospitalized, her child was molested at the age of 7. Less than 10years later, he became a molester himself. He has to register as a sex offender, he can't get housing, he can't get a job, he just sits around her trailer playing World of Warcraft. She wishes she had never had him. If you can't take good care of a baby, don't have it.

Thanks so much for being supportive. It is rare indeed, for someone to be sympathetic to the mother of a child molester! All in all, though, my son has been an enormous source of grief in my life. I will try to figure out if there was any good in it... maybe it did force me to work harder at maintaining mental stability, but it's hard to be compliant with your meds and other psychiatric recommendations when you're a single mother without much money.

The fact is that ProLife stands for the promotion of life. We believe that when steps are taken to stop, interfere and end the full development & creation of life for convenience (as what most abortions are done for), including abortions from the moment of conception, is an act that deprives the unborn to it's right to life.
