Heart Shaped Box performed by both Nirvana and Evanescence was inspired by Blanche Dubois in the play A Streetcar Named Desire. Blanche kept her accessories in a heart shaped box. One item was a seahorse pin and why Kurt drew a seahorse in his journal. I also wrote Celebrity Skin for Hole.
