I don't know what it is about Roger Miller's arrangement of this song that makes it so much more moving than any other version of this song you can find but regardless of who is singing I am brought close to tears

Oh my goodness! This is amazing! The chorus is so in touch with the feeling of the song and the soloist just rocked me to my core! He has a great future ahead of him. I almost cried when listening to this song. Bravo!

Playing Huck Finn in 1987 was my Broadway debut.....Big River will always hold a special place in my heart.....watching this number and seeing your version of Muddy Water blew me away....what an amazing production and cast....kudos....I would love to see the entire production if available....please respond to my page.
