  • JUST CHECK A NEW BAND FROM ATLANTA "MonstrO" - THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • Three people need a healer.

  • Hello everyone! Could someone post the lyrics of this song for me? I can't find them anywhere on the net and we would like to do a cover of the song with my band in 2 weeks.

    Thank you :)

  • The guitar riff is humongos!

  • I love when Torche destroys CHURCHILLS with their ROCK!!

  • wow - such anger and hostility from you Gwok. My recommendation is you apply your rage to the art of coitus; that should clear up all your problems.

  • @GwokFace - okay BukkakeFace.....would you mind mentioning the band's name you are trying to defend. It makes it so much easier to create a proper retort.

  • @jodysoldman which band do you think? miss the point much? you deliberately obtuse motherfucker. you are going to hell with everyone else on this planet. although i like that you made a joke about my screen name! that's truly very clever, and not at all smacks of desperation. although you missed 'cock face' which is the one I would have gone for. you fucking faggot.

  • @GwokFace Shut the Gwok Up!

  • This is the first time i hear about them and i need to say this is a great band with an incredible sound..

  • finding this made today a great day

  • i think i'm going to go eat some nachos

  • 2008, a damn good year that was, Disfear, Opeth, Gojira, Enslaved, Nachtmystium, Cynic, Meshuggah, Amon Amarth coming in with monster releases, but what really stood out for me that year was discovering the wonders and awesomeness of Krallice, Harvey Milk and ofcourse these guys.

  • I saw them open for Coheed, and I don't know if they are good or not. They played way too freaking loud, and all of there songs sounded the same. Idk i just did not enjoy it at all. And don't think I am some close minded Coheed fan, because I like all kinds of other bands like Offspring, Tool, Led Zeppelin, and many others. They were just not very good

  • @zschauerman - you liking Coheed just says it all. If you like them check out The Chipmunks, with or without Alvin. I have a feeling you'll be a huge fan

  • @jodysoldman ok i can understand you not liking Claudio's voice (lead singer of coheed and camrbia) but the music they make is soo good. im not trying to be offensive and bash torshe. im just saying that i don't like them all that much

  • @jodysoldman - I genuinely pity you for your lack of understanding. love dallas green, pig destroyer, 90s cryptopsy, kvelertak, ozric tentacles, crosby, stills, nash, primus, nerf herder and all the mostly-new-to-me ?sludge? bands that I find through people's helpful comments :D Its all rock and roll dude, and the thought that you would be so predictably cunty about a brilliant, unusual, original rock band when there is so much shit out there sickens me. you are a fake pussy. ROCK ON EVERYONE!

  • @GwokFace Oh so you don't like NEW Cryptopsy? hehehe...

  • fuck this song is classic

  • @cdstewart9 How can you say this song is classic? It's like a year old and sounds like all of there other stuff.

  • @zschauerman When I say classic I mean (it's good.) I'll prob listen to it 10, 20, and so on, years from now and appreciate it...I owuld say the same thing about "grounds for divorce" by: big business..it has nothing to do with how old the song is...and just so you now...when you see any band live and they play loud half of what you hear is reverb and feedback..if you dont know the songs..thats mostly what your gonna hear..

  • @cdstewart9 well i aslo saw circa, and i hadn't heard anything from them before. They just seem to think they are so bad ass when they play, and its annoying. I decided to look them up, and found out my first opinion was true. That all of there songs sound the same. I've been to many concerts before, and no one was "too loud." Just not a fan

  • @zschauerman fair enough..havn't seen em live..would like to tho..I dont think their songs sound the same..check out their myspace page.."in return" totally changes up at the end and is wicked..

  • @cdstewart9 for sure man. 100 agreed. not like anything else. heavy, dynamic, loud, fast-great, great album.

  • Yeah, really. Coheed is one of my top 3 favorite bands, but I agree with JamesFinch. Torche is a great band and it's fucking annoying that all of the Coheed fanboys can't appreciate them and just bash them without knowing shit about their type of music.

  • Fuck the Coheed fanboys is all I have to say. I love Coheed, they're in my top 10 favorite bands list but their fans can be so fucking close minded when it comes to the opening acts Coheed pick. It's like when Tool picks a bunch of great opening acts and their fans start talking trash. That said, Torche is great, saw them in Pomona, last night in Boston and am seeing them in Allston headlining tomorrow. I love this song.

  • I went to the show on May 14th..all I can say is SUCK. They are soooo bad live. I feel like the played the same song 5 times and the singer was just yelling into the microphone.

  • @sichisch the exact same reaction i had. it was like a 28 minute long song with 5 different breakdowns. plus the bassist looks like a penis

  • i went to the concert on may 10th, torche were good at rocking, but the singer was just awful, circa was awesome because anthony green brings so much enerygy, and of course, coheed was just amazing.

  • @stjimmy1010 hey im goin on monday night in boston.. did circa play all new stuff or any throwbacks???

  • @Rizz729 They played about 3 or 4 songs from the new album, but most of it waS OLDEER STUFF

  • @stjimmy1010 I was there too! SLC, right? I agree with everything you said except I couldn't hardly hear Torche's singer (front row, full Orange stacks, you get the idea). I wasn't a huge fan of Circa's fans. They were way too pushy and were loud enough to drown out Green. Coheed was great. Anywho, I like Torche

  • good song

  • Funny, cause the show at the Fox at Pomona, they were horrible. The vocalist was off and doesn't even sound like he is singing for the right song. I guess they were drunk or something there.

  • Saw them with Circa and Coheed and Warehouse Live, Stubbs Barbeque, and the Palladeum Ballroom in Houston, Austin, and Dalls respectively..

    They were all great.

  • im going to see coheed on the 7th not really excited to see these guys or that faggot band circa survive, but cohees is nothing short of fucking amazing

  • @hogdoogan1 I was there too, these guys put on a way better show than circa. circa's singer was too hammered to even remember what song they were playing. Coheed was INCREDIBLE.

  • @flyingSG08 Circa is extremely good live. Idk what you were watching because Circa is freaking amazing live, and im not a huge fan of theres, but they are very good. And yes Coheed was INCREDIBLE

  • man these guys are going to be with circa and coheed, fuck, they sound like shit, 90's is over dudes

  • @nclempark What the hell are you talking about? Coheed are my fave band, but these guys rock my socks off.

  • @nclempark you're dumb...

  • can't wait to see these guys with Coheed!

  • Just so you guys know, I love Torche.

That last comment wasn't meant to make fun of them

  • "pop sludge" way to get creative guys....

    How about "SLOP"

    SLUDGE + POP = SLOP

MAN HAVE YOU HEARD THAT TORCHE ALBUM?

    SHIT WAS SLOPPY

  • Torche: The sound of an alternate reality where the melvins became huge instead of Nirvana. Kurt still blew his brains out though cause it would be weird to see him as a washed up 90s pop icon

  • Totally but then add the fact that The Melvins merged with Dinosaur Jr. through osmosis somhow in this alternate reality.

  • How about Alternative rock? They remind me of those early 90s grunge bands who only had 1-2 albums out

  • Hail the Wizard!

  • shut up dudes ! it ' s a great song!

you have to play it loud !

  • i don't give a rat's ass about genre, if makes you rock out, its all good.

  • Fuck genres. If you're going to tag a band, be a bit more creative.

    Let's call this "pop sludge".

  • hehe, pop slude, makes me smile, but you are not so wrong my friend :)

  • Hahahaha! Pop sludge...I dig it. Come to think of it these guys sound kind of like Dinosaur Jr. and they definately have some sludge in there sound. They're on tour with Coheed and Cambria and i"m going to a Coheed show in April so I figured I'd lok these guys up and I wasn't expecting this. They're pretty good I dig their sound.

  • @xTheOxx call it whatever you want pop, maintstream, that way more people hear it!! you dig?

  • dope

  • give a fuck to genres, feel it!

  • True

  • @Rabhadh

Sludge Metal usually refers to a combination of Doom Metal and Hardcore Punk

  • Well, psych 70's stuff just as well, just as stoner rock.

  • If youre looking for real sludge, listen to the guitarist/vocalists old band FLOOR. best music ever made

  • for more sludgy stuff listen to their In Return album

  • sludge rock/metal are pretty indistinguishable so i wouldn't worry about it mate

  • this hella sounds like punk rock, idk why its called "sludge metal" but I really like this song, I feel it.

  • best two mintues of life well spent!!

  • sounds like two songs from sonic youth put together (main riff from "mildred pierce", chorus from "mote" both from album "goo") but with husker du flavor and steve albini sound

  • The best two minutes of my last days...

  • One of the better songs on the album.

  • Whoa-OH!
