She needs sassy and heartfelt songs...not this. Too light, cerebral...so i guess she's making humorous, funny etc... hmmm.... not her best performance.
She's terrific -- although this song does not do her voice justice. She is so spontaneous and authentic, though. How refreshing, especially in today's jaded, music scene with its innocuous, pre-packaged, interchangeable 'stars.' A propos of nothing -- did she have her nose done at some point early in the 60's? Her voice has better resonance and in general sounds much healthier in her earlier clips. And no, she does not look common. She looks charming.
@littler1uk Why would you be impressed with Dud he had a doctorate of music he was one of the best piano jazz players of his time who had a very sad ending to his succesful career.take a look at some his songs on you tube you will be impressed.....cheers
Can't disagree with the comments below. Great voice and a funny series of interuptions by Dud....what a guy, what a musician! Above all, it shows what talent there was in the sixties compared to that of today. Could you imagine any of today's singers being so amused and yet carry on so wonderfully?
Great melody riff on piano. Probably the best I have ever heard. Really great both of them. Arrangement better than the fab 4 managed! And that is saying something!
Two things, Cilla actually looked good and sang well here... also, Dud (thought of as the weaker of the Cook & Moore partnership) was very funny here! What a fantastic musician too let's not forget
Fantastic!

Hilarious. It's too bad the music itself wasn't given a better treatment -- the beginning orchestration isn't all that great.

I like the double take Cilla does when Dudley chimes in at 1:17.

@ianwilson2007 no wrong notes, only a very low key for her to sing that line (by the way, a difficult one to sing)

She's great - and Dudley shows why he was regarded as a great musician as well as a great comic.

F*cking great voice. Dudley Moore spoils it, bless him : he's great too. But Cilla is flying here and he spoils it. What a shame ....

Not exactly "la classe par excellence" Cilla always looked common ...poor thing-that's why the masses liked her.
