Nice job with the lyrics! One of the first 45's I ever bought.I was 10 ten years old,1970.It was played on am radio as FM hadn't taken hold yet.Seems applicable in these times!
Thanks for posting this with such excellent sound. This is one of my all time favorites. Did you ever notice that during the guitar solo, the drummer misses the snare one time. It happens at about 2:55.
THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT. I WAS NOT EVEN AWARE OF THIS SONG UNTIL MY PASTOR TOLD ME ABOUT IT A FEW MONTHS AGO. I FOUND THE MUSIC AND DID THE VIDEO FOR OUR CHURCH. THE TWO OF US ARE ON A MISSION TRYING TO BRING IT BACK INTO THE TOP 100.(HA) IT IS A REALLY GOOD SONG AND WE HAVE PLAYED IT SEVERAL TIMES AT OUR CHURCH. I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE DRUMMER'S MISS BUT I WILL LISTEN FOR IT NOW THAT I KNOW IT'S THERE. THANKS AGAIN.
Awesome song. Perfect for our times! The Beatles were just 4 talented musicians, who thought they were more popular than God.
