Big tobacco needs to start making them, instead of fighting them. They will one day take over the traditional cigarette market if not sooner in a generation or two. Greed must die, a government by the corporations for the corporations that hides behind a government for the people by the people will not stand much longer! Hopefully in the USA common since well prevail and we won't have the uprisings we see in other countries, but to be honest the people should care no more about the greedy self
The FDA wants to classify e-cigarettes as a "drug delivery device" and not as a device that delivers a product that can derive from tobacco.
By making an e-cig a "drug delivery device", the e-cig would have to be banned and taken off the market until expensive, very long medical testing is performed so that reliable test results come back for future ruling. Forcing users to go back to traditional cigarette$. The U.S. Federal Court of Appeals turned down the FDA's appeal to do just that.
