Should have kept jugs in CoD. Hell they should have kept Stopping power too. But in CoD4 quickscoping took some skill, but if it bothered you, you just put on jugs and you'd be fine.

As someone who enjoys quickscoping I fully agree, they should make either a quickscoping playlist, or a snipers only playlist at least, because there are times when quickscopers piss me off while I'm trying to play the objective and they just run around doing their own thing. And like I said, I enjoy quickscoping as well, but I do it with my friends, not by myself on ground war domination.

Pres, there were a lot of QS'ers in the past IW games. They realize a lot of people love doing it after Black Ops "killed sniping", so they wouldn't dare take it out. I say we worry about other problems in this game like dual wield FMG's and the Type 95.

@CastilloArnulfo You must be crazy. MW3 is the easiest of any COD to quickscope. It's already easy as it is, but in MW3 it's easier. The only COD that actually took SOME skill to quickscope was WAW. COD4,MW2,MW3 quickscopes, are literally just given to you once you aim and shoot. As for the no skill part, well that's true..all it is is just aim and shoot. The scope will literally be on the person body automatically. But that's just me, I'm a Gears 1 sniper..where headshots are actual headshots.

So for me the transition between both games in where one bullet kills the person headshot or body shot is super easy compared to Gears 1 where you actually had to get the headshot to get the kill since a sniper bullet to the body won't kill the target. You can spray with the Barret 50. and get a lucky kill or two close up. But 90% of the time an smg will own u. If you dont believe me. Try runing around quick scoping and spraying with a barret.
Btw, anyone else notice that mw3 has less people online than black ops did this time last year? I have a feeling it's bcuz of said elements that make the game imbalanced.
Quickscoping, shotguns, type 95 and the final stand deathstreak equally need a touch up bcuz they're overpowered! Final stand needs to apply the kill credit like black ops did, the guy who downs them should get the kill not the guy who finishes him. But all of the above ruins the game and if go unaddressed will just hurt the franchise.

@bglasier u r incorrect, but only partially. while it is not classified as a machine gun, you have the same mobiliy rate as if you are carrying a smg. i think they need to patch all snipers so that u move the same way you do when you carry a lmg. snipers are powerful guns, but to have that much power and still be able to move so quickly is such a huge advantage.

@CastilloArnulfo You must be crazy. MW3 is the easiest of any COD to quickscope. It's already easy as it is, but in MW3 it's easier. The only COD that actually took SOME skill to quickscope was WAW. COD4,MW2,MW3 quickscopes, are literally just given to you once you aim and shoot. As for the no skill part, well that's true..all it is is just aim and shoot. The scope will literally be on the person body automatically. But that's just me, I'm a Gears 1 sniper..where headshots are actual headshots.

So for me the transition between both games in where one bullet kills the person headshot or body shot is super easy compared to Gears 1 where you actually had to get the headshot to get the kill since a sniper bullet to the body won't kill the target. So yeah, that's why I'm saying COD quickscoping takes no skill.

I can quickscope, and let me say its harder than using any other gun, because with everyone now knowing how to dropshot you gotta be quick and in close range if you get killed by a sniper when your using a PP90M1 and you cant kill them, then that aint cause of an overpowered sniper, its cause you suck!

They were on 4 bar, while you were on a 3 bar of ping. Don't matter what gun u have, Lag owns all. I thought the same way until I tired quickscoping. It's not easy. You can spray with the Barret 50. and get a lucky kill or two close up. But 90% of the time an smg will own u. If you dont believe me. Try runing around quick scoping and spraying with a barret.

Quickscoping, shotguns, type 95 and the final stand deathstreak equally need a touch up bcuz they're overpowered! Final stand needs to apply the kill credit like black ops did, the guy who downs them should get the kill not the guy who finishes him. But all of the above ruins the game and if go unaddressed will just hurt the franchise.

ok so if this were in real life a sniper would always be more powerful than a smg just for the fact that smg's generally take pistol caliber bullets. also if you were to spray and pray versus a guy putting 1000 yds in between you and him id say the guy with the rifle will win.
