these are gassoline oil mix engines not nitro . and to all the baja bashers know the facts its 4wd not 2wd as the baja . and parts support are great have 4 cars from nitro rcx no problems ever .

you dont think i wish the hpi baja was 650 bucks? of course i do, but hpi is the original manufacter of the baja and they put all the money in the research and development, exceed rc, redcat racing, and many others can re make these cars for cheap because they got factories in china to make everything dirt cheap, but is quality really in mind when they make their products? what about customer and parts support?

I gotta say, I've been really looking at the hannibal very closely and I see quality. Look at the thickness of the shock towers,chassis; every critical part that needs to be durable sure looks it to me. That exhaust looks badass, tires, too.For $700, I would take a chance. I have cars/trucks from all manufacturers, and I've had problems with all.The parts quality on these don't look any different.

i have a couple of questions i want to ask before i buy one of these. first about how fast is the top speed, how long can you run on one tank of gas for the buggy or trophy truck, are they water proof can the engines take a lot of strain

@darrenshan300 Great questions, Darrenshan300! Top speed, 40mph+, depending on how you tune your throttle and control your car, Runs for about 15-20minutes. Not waterproof, but of course, you are more than welcomed to waterproof the engines as it is a hobby, you can do anything to it!

the hannibal's body should come down a little bit more so the chassies arent exposed like a savage thats why i like traxxas the bodies fully cover the chassies. also are the diffs metal gears? is the quality as good as hpi? are any hpi parts interchangeable?
