@goldensleeves maybe not the best amp for Jazz. John Scofield is playing a Custom Reverb Signature Version 3 Tube Rectifier now. The 10th Anniv. is a little more aggressive.

It must be his pickups.. the amp sounds a bit muffled and middy.. even though it sounds great and he plays great its all "his tone" which has an extreme mid edge.. I would love to hear a generic strat through this amp...
