Great Video ... I too wish they had included the great Engineering traditions at Mizzou ... for instance do you realize that Mizzou is who started the tradition of St. Patrick being the Patron Saint of Engineering.

Now on Beetle Bailey - Beetle started out as a cartoon by Mort in the Man Eater, Beetle was not a soldier then but was drawn as a student in the first year of his exsistance

What's the deal with the Beetle Bailey statue? I understand the comic artist was a Mizzou alum, but why do the people at Mizzou who made the statue and draw "beetle bailey" on certain pictures have him dressed up all weird?? He's a soldier in the army! That's the character. You don't dress him up like some doofus with a yellow shirt and civilian clothes, for christ sake. Where else does he look like that? Certainly not in the guy's comic. Does the alum know you bastardized his character?

Good video... as an alum, it was fun to watch and learn of some traditions that I never knew while attending school. A little disappointed that they didn't cover the fact that Mizzou's Engineering school had the first Engineer's Week.
