  • Hi freehuggers!

On september the 21st it's the international day of peace, time for a world wide HUG!

We're initiating the project 'Embrace Your World'; 24 timezones - 1 hour of peace.

Starting in New Zealand at 8pm local time, one hour of activities will take place, starting and ending with a hug. This wave of love goes on until the whole world is embraced.

Pleace, initiate your own peace event. Contact us with your ideas at embraceyourworld . com or mail: info at mousetiger com

  • Really nice project! Great idea to just make people notice each-other and share some human warmth. Also one free hug from Estonia!

  • Priceless! Thank you for making this world a better place and bringing out the goodness in our fellow man.

  • cant see the video

but anyway free hugs from indonesia

  • Fighting in public is rude, to give someone a hug in public, shows that there is still love in this world..good job.

  • thais find it inappropriate to hug in public. generally body contact is not familiar to asian culture. That's why you see almost only forieners in this video. It's been taken in some tourist place in Bangkok.

Anyway, I find the campaign very good, but might not be successful in Thailand.

  • hmm.. that is right, right. its at khaosarn road, the majority of tourists being friendly and younger and easy-going. although seriously next month are looking to do something.. something simple, elemental, yet powerful and significant. perhaps, a thousand hugs maybe... u know.. maybe here means we will do it even if they put a gun on our heads or came with sticks, well think some something greasy to lubricate the floor... lol..

  • @sudavdo fuck you

  • oh really??

  • thais find it rude to hug in public

  • Finally, it happened in Bangkok. Thanks for the video.

  • hey, that was inspiring.. which better way to reach out than the open gesture? awesome :)

  • hey manik.. You r the man!!! i like the way yu keep comin up with new ideas man... next time i would realli love to join yu...take care pra..god bless man

  • Wow..you did it again! Who thought such a simple gesture can make such a huge impact... I must admit it sounded wierd at the outset but as I watched the clip I thought it was pure genius... Very emotional..I was very touched by the humanity I saw...there is hope for all of us yet!

  • Fantastic and Amazing! Re-Connecting with People in a disconnected world! Love your work Manik! Keep it going!

  • Wicked campaign! I wish I was there...and give you a hugh hug. Peace

  • there was never a campaign.. never in bangkok anyways... there were coups, military governments, tanks, red sunrises on new years, bomb blasts while the world were celebrating hugs, - thats the timeline anyways.

  • Owh!sumtimes a simple hug without speaking any words can be very meaningful to ppl.Nyway, will dere b a 2nd Hug Campaign Bangkok held in the future? God Bless U,Manik !!

  • sure...! if nobody does it, i'll join ya. ;)

  • haha. amazing

  • Just seeing people hugging, already brightens my day. :) Thanks, heart-moving campaign.
