  • This song is the best and it's still such a great song to too after all these years. Vice City rocks and so does 80's music. GTA: Vice City is still the best. :)

  • @KenMeister1357 omg yeah man totally agree with you :D

  • @SuperOMGLOLROFL Thanks for agreeing with me then. :)

  • Seriously, I wish some people would just stop getting so concerned and worked up about some of the comments that I post at some of these YouTube videos sometimes. To me, my comments are not considered spam and I only just post my own comments and opinions too when I need to or at times when I feel like doing so. I'm getting tired of people bothering me and criticizing me too including my comments. I wish everyone would just stop and everyone would just leave me the fuck alone.

  • This song used to be on an ad and I assumed it was purpose made. Then Vice City gets released and my brother was playing and I was watching when this song came on - I was like hang on, it's an actual song!

So many great songs on that game though, I was reacquainted with many songs I hadn't heard since I was like 3/4 yrs old when my Mum would listen to them on the radio. Cutting Crew, Toto, Foreigner, Roxy Music etc. I kept going "Hey, I remember this song!"

  • WHY SO MANY RELIGIOUS ADS!

    I

    DO

    NOT

    BELIEVE

    IN

    GOD!

  • The 80's were great but I'm sure back then people had the same opinion on music as we do now. Many people probably said 80s music sucked and 60's music was better, back then.

    I wouldn't know though.

  • @duralate No that was never the case! The 80's was a genre all its own... just saying

  • A hillarious gaming engine with a serious story. Hillarious commercials with somewhat great music. That's how gta USED to be.

  • im only 3 and i bought this computer with trident layers!

  • Im only 15 and i love 80´s song!

  • In my spare time if I was ever up on a Friday or Saturday night, I would probably love to stay up all night and play this game for my PS2 console as well as most of my other most favorite games that I own including "Resident Evil 2," "Resident Evil 4," "Resident Evil: Code Veronica X," "Metal Gear Solid," "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots," "Guitar Hero," "Band Hero," "Rock Band 2," "Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes," "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," and lots of other great games too.

  • Again, GTA: Vice City is still the best and it's one of the most greatest GTA games ever created of all time. It's also one of the best-selling games ever made and available for the PS2 console too. It's so awesome. I still have GTA: Vice City for PS2 as well and I still love playing this game. It never gets old and I was actually just playing Vice City again earlier this evening too. For PS2, I also have GTA: Vice City Stories, but I think I like GTA: Vice City just a little bit better though.

  • GTA: Vice City is still a great game and it never gets old either. Eventually someday, I hope they ever release some sort of GTA remastered HD collection set for both PS3 and Xbox 360 with re-released remastered HD versions of GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas and maybe even both GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Vice City Stories too. That would be so great and that would be so cool too if they ever did that sometime.

  • what a legend! shame i was born in the 90's didnt get that 80's feeling :(

  • @CrunchyTwist Me too, CrunchyTwist. I was born in the 90's as well so I wasn't around back in the 80's either to experience how life was like back in the 80's. That would've been so cool though. I was also born in the year 1991 in case you were wondering so I was born in the early 90's. Being born in the 90's though isn't really too bad and it's almost as great as the 80's too. The 90's was an awesome decade as well.

  • back to the 80s again then, when they release GTA V

  • @SaxonTrue According to Wikipedia, I have actually heard that the possible setting for the new and upcoming GTA V video game is going to be set in Los Santos which was one of the locations featured in GTA: San Andreas. So if that really is true, then the gameplay for GTA V may be almost sort of similar to GTA: San Andreas or something. I can't wait for GTA V to be released soon too and I may think about getting it too for the PS3. It'll be so cool.

  • @KenMeister1357 I actually wrote that a weeb before the trailer was released so I was just guessing :p

  • @SaxonTrue Oh okay.

  • love this song!!!

  • @gmorton1000 Me too! It's one of my most favorite songs ever. It's also one of my most favorite songs ever from the 1980's decade as well as one of my most favorite songs from GTA: Vice City. It's so awesome.

  • Driving through the streets of Vice City listenin' 2 this song.

    Oh, you'd better believe that's a paddlin'.

  • @HSimon1981 no man, that's a high five

  • chooooon

  • fuck off bollywood

  • @BLOODYMITTENZv2 your mind?

  • @GodOvEpicness that makes no fucking sense

  • @GodOvEpicness Oh I like what you did there :D

  • Plz god make R* have this CRAZY idea: REMAKE GTA VC and GTA SA no new characters just remake them with better graphics same audio no new muzic same everything EXCEPT GRAPHICS oh and add like 1 or 4 new kinds of weapons

  • Vice City...<3

  • If they remake Vice City, new gameplay, new character, new storyline, better graphics BUT SAME SONGS, I would definitely buy it.

  • i wish i had lived in the 80's in miami that would have been one hell of a time

  • @jhaul21 Me too, jhaul21. I wasn't even around yet back in the 80's because I wasn't even born yet. I wasn't born until the early 90's until the year 1991 and this game here took place back in 1986 which was just five years before I was born. If I would've been born a few years earlier or something, I probably would've been an 80's person myself too. I wasn't around though back in the 80's, but I do love 80's music though. Music from the 90's wasn't too bad either and I do like the 90's as well.

  • best gta game ever hearing this makes me wana play it aww memories

  • damn that chilling riff is awesome

  • Vice City is da BOOOOOOMMMMMBBBBB!!!

  • The 80's was such an amazing decade of music and I do know a lot of great hit songs from that time too. The 80's rock! Too bad I wasn't around yet though back in the 80's. That would've been so cool. Then I would've been able to experience what life was like back then. I wasn't born though until the early 90's in 1991. I was born in the early 90's so unfortunately, I wasn't around back in the 80's. I still love listening to a lot of great 80's songs even though I wasn't around yet back then.

  • @KenMeister1357 fuk sakes! we get it, yu wer born in the 90s and living in the 80s wudv been cool..either yur baked, or jus straight dumb

  • @TheJokerNTheTheif Well I was only just pointing out my opinion from before. That's all. Plus, sometimes I just feel like reposting my comments and opinions too. If I feel like saying something over again sometimes, then that's what I'll sometimes do.

  • Jesus help us Hannah Montana is listed before Talk Talk for this song.

  • grande carlos roderua autore di questi capolavori anni 80

  • You know its a good game when my dad dancing to the song stops him from noticing im shagging a hooker in my pickup.

  • Vice city, the best

  • GTA: Vice City is one of the greatest masterpieces ever created in the history of video games. According to Wikipedia this game has received extremely positive reviews and I for one can concur with all those reviews. Even though this game has been around for almost nine years already, it's still a great classic and it's one of the best GTA games ever. It really takes you back to the 80's making it feel like the 80's again almost. This game may even deserve to be in the Hall of Fame too, sort of.

  • @KenMeister1357 literally love this game so much i bought it twice... one for PS2 and another for PC

  • @gangrel247 That sounds great then. Right now, I only have this game just for my PS2 console and it is backwards compatible too on the PS3 that I currently have as well. I first got this game at GameStop just three years ago for the PS2 and ever since I played this game and listened to all of those wonderful songs in Vice City, I really started to love this game. So far, GTA: Vice City is one of my most favorite GTA games ever in the series as well as one of my most favorite games for PS2.

  • Again, this game is the best and it's such a great GTA game too. GTA: Vice City is as great as all of the other GTA games in the series too including GTA: Vice City Stories and Vice City is one of my most favorite games ever as well as one of my favorite PS2 games and one of my favorite games in the GTA video game series. I still have this game for my PS2 and it's also already backwards compatible on my PS3 console that I have too. This game rocks and I still love playing it all the time.

  • It's all about arriving at the pink mission marker, and waiting in the car a few meters away to listen to the end of the song. Money well spent

  • I wonder if the 80s life was as smooth as the Vice City game. Great Music, Great Clubs, Great Partying.. ect.. :D One the hottest GTA game outta Gta San Andreas n Liberty City

  • @D4chick09 i wonder too,but one think im sure is the music was WAY better than nowadays

  • This game is art!

  • This was my era and GTA Vice City spits out more memories than I care to recall. How they managed to jam the spirit of the 80's into one computer game is beyond me but it causes serious issues in my household because the youngster wants to play the game and his dad wants to soak up the tunes. It has to be the only computer game where the soundtrack plays as important a role as the game itself.

  • Gosh these songs go oh so hard! If we had this music on the radio today, do you know how different & full of life people would be omg! I love this song

  • @MizzYungMacMar There are some radio stations that still plays some great music hits and songs from the 80's. All of these hits are so great and they never get too old. They'll always remain as timeless classics and the best hit songs ever for years to come. They're all still the best. I know a lot of great songs from the 80's too including "Hungry Like The Wolf," "We Got The Beat," "Out of Touch," and so much more and some of these songs can probably still be heard on the radio even today.

  • Bought A Old Ps2 Just So I Could Play Vice City And Hear This Song .... Its One Of The Best Songs On Flash Fm

  • @venthesikimis Yeah, but GTA Vice City revived all of these 80's tracks. Made a new generation of followers.

  • Listen to the song guys....It's far more than a game soundtrack 's song......it's the life itself....

  • This song rocks and I still love listening to this song too as well as all of my other most favorite songs in the game whenever I play GTA: Vice City. It's such a great classic. Never gets old.

  • Man this music is simply the best and it really makes me feel so good too. Just a few months ago, I lost access to my old YouTube account and I thought that it would never be recovered or something, but now that I've realized that I have my old account back and everything, now I feel so relieved and better than ever. I feel so great now especially when I listen to this song as well as other great songs and other types of music that I really love listening to that makes my day. It's so awsome. :)

  • definitely my fave era of music, the 80s

  • @Jakeeey92 Mine too, Jakeeey92. I really love 80's music too and I do have some great video games that has such wonderful 80's music including GTA: Vice City, GH Encore: Rocks the 80's, and a few other great games too. It's so awesome. I was born in the early 90's though. So unfortunately, I wasn't really around yet back in the 80's to experience all these great hits of the decade. If I would've been born a few years sooner though, then I would've been around for at least part of the 80's. :)

  • Vice City brought this amazing track back to life for me! Love it!

  • I agree, todays music is crap. Need more like a "New Wave" revolution again like back in the 80s.

  • So how exactly was life like back in the 80's? It seemed like the 80's decade was such a great time to be in and all the songs from the 80's decade rocks too. They're all still so great to listen to even today as well. :)

  • @KenMeister1357100 This is just my opinion, but I don't think things have changed much from the 80's.The biggest change in music and pretty much all popular entertainment,to me,is the commercialization of art, which is what any form of expression is.If you dig around, you'll find alot of amazing music is being made, but it isn't mainstream so the money machine won't touch it.Check out KEXP,if you haven't already.Simon Cowell and American Idol haven't helped much either!!

  • @9963duck Okay then. Well thanks for the info anyway then.

  • @KenMeister1357100 It was fantasy world of excess. Reagan ran the national deficit up to the sky while keeping the country high with endless supplies of cocaine. Kids like me watched shows like Richie Rich and fantasized of futures on Wall Street. Hardly anyone shopped at Goodwill. If you did, you were a "scum." Then when I got to high school, it was cool to wear clothes from the thrift shops! ;)

  • @thehalokiki Oh. Well, thanks for sharing that info with me then. I do have to say though that the 80's did have some great music. It seemed like such a great time period to be in.

  • @KenMeister1357100 I went out and bought a PS2 when I saw the commercial for GTA Vice City when it came out with the "I ran..." song. I beat the game. I'm a 34 year old woman! That's how nostalgic I am for the music. It really was a great time to be a kid. I wish I had been old enough to get to do all that coke though! ;)

  • @thehalokiki That sounds cool then. I have GTA: Vice City for PS2 as well and it's still a great game. It's also backwards compatible on my PS3 console that I have and I first got GTA: Vice City for PS2 back in late 2008 from GameStop. It's such an awesome game and it's one of my most favorite games ever. I also know the song "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls too. That's such a great song and I also have that song on GH Encore: Rocks the 80's for PS2.

  • @thehalokiki GTA: Vice City is still such a great classic, isn't it? The 80's seemed like a fantastic decade or time period to be back in too. :)

  • I remember playing Grand Theft Auto and this sing came on. I forgot I was playing the fucking game and turned up the volume. Great band. This is a great song WOW. I think I finished the game that night Ha ha .....

  • Dang.. I was born 20 years to late..

  • i remember in the 4th grade my dad would always play the vice city soundtrack, this song was one of my favs

  • Who says that old stuff is boring? Most of the time it's the old schools that live on as a legend.

Vice City's soundtracks are the perfect example of this.

  • @OldSkoolgamerz I say most of the pop music today is boring

  • This song is still the best and it never gets old either. I still love listening to this song too along with lots of other great 80's songs as well in GTA: Vice City. It's so awesome and I still have GTA: Vice City too. It's still such a great game. Right now, I have GTA: Vice City for PS2 and it's also backwards compatible on my PS3 console that I have too. It's also one of my most favorite GTA games ever now in the series as well as one of my most favorite PS2 games ever. Vice City FTW! :)

  • i hope they made a shit load of cash off this

  • Like most things from the 80s this song feels so old, yet so futuristic at the same time. The blinding optimism and the rocking beat are so addictive.

  • this songs reminds me of Sonny for some reason

  • This type of music rocks and in my opinion, if there are times where I'm feeling depressed or stressed out or I would be feeling this way, then this song here along with other types of great songs too especially the music from GTA: Vice City would make me feel less stressed, more confident, more relaxed, and more happy too. This would be the type of music that would keep me in a positive and an excellent mood all the time and I wish I could listen to this music almost all the time as well. :)

  • This type of music is the best and this song rocks! So far, this is one of my most favorite songs ever from the Flash FM radio station in GTA: Vice City along with some other great songs too such as "Your Love," "Out of Touch," "Dance Hall Days," "Four Little Diamonds," "Call Me," "Kiss the Dirt (Falling Down the Mountain)," and so much more. All of those songs are the best and every single song on Flash FM in GTA: Vice City are all already my most favorites including this song here too. :)

  • These songs from the 80's are simply the best and they're all still so great to listen to even today as well. These songs are still so wonderful even though they're just about 30 years old almost already considering the fact that we're now in the 2010's decade already and that the 1980's decade was about 30 years apart. In my own opinion, I think both GTA: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories should've included some other great 80's hits too like "Hungry Like The Wolf" or "Lonely Is The Night."

  • Man this song is so awesome and it's still the best too. It's such a great relaxing song to listen to and it's also one of the best 80's songs ever as well as one of the best songs ever too from GTA: Vice City. If I'm ever feeling in a negative mood or something or if I'm feeling down for some reason, then I believe that this music would be the type of music for me to become relaxed and to forget about all of my troubles too. This type of music would keep me in a great mood all the time. :)

  • Great job on this video clip again as always and awesome song too. This song sounds simply fantastic and it's one of the best songs ever of the 1980's as well as one of the greatest hit songs ever from the Flash FM radio station in GTA: Vice City. It's so awesome. Vice City FTW! :)

  • The GTA video game series is simply the best and I really have so many great GTA games already in the series whereas some of them are already my most favorites now such as GTA: San Andreas and GTA: Vice City. It's so awesome. Next in the series for now, I would also like to get the PS3 version of GTA: Episodes from Liberty City as well as GTA: Vice City Stories for PSP, GTA: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS, and also if possible, the original Xbox versions of both GTA III and GTA: Vice City.

  • So far in the GTA video game series as far as I should know, I still currently have GTA IV for PS3 and I also have GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, GTA: Liberty City Stories, and GTA: Vice City Stories all for PS2 as well as both GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Chinatown Wars for the PSP, the Xbox version of GTA: San Andreas, and GTA: Advance for Game Boy Advance. I am thinking of collecting some more great GTA games soon in the series too and it's so awesome. GTA rocks!

  • The GTA video game series rocks and so far in the series, both GTA: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories are simply the best. Both Vice City games are great and all, but I would have to say that I'd probably prefer the original Vice City a little better than Vice City Stories. VCS is still a great game though. Right now, I currently have both GTA: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories for PS2 and both games are still great to play too. I may also think about getting VCS for the PSP as well. :)

  • This song rocks and it sounds so beautiful too. It's one of the greatest hit songs ever of the 1980's and it's also one of the greatest songs I've ever heard too. This song is already one of my most favorites and I really love listening to this all the time whenever I'm playing GTA: Vice City. It's so awesome. So far, all of the songs in GTA: Vice City on Flash FM are my most favorites ever and I do like a few other songs in the game too such as "She Sells Sanctuary" and "I Ran (So Far Away)."

  • Man I really wish some users here at YouTube would sometimes just leave me alone. I really don't like having too much mail sent to me at one time all the time such as too many friend requests or anything like that and I also don't like receiving requests from people who I don't trust either. That I don't allow either. I also don't like it when some people offend me in certain ways too or anything like that. I just like to be left alone and I just don't want anyone bothering me. That's all.

  • @NightRogue6 not so funny that way but beats losimg all your guns

  • We all have one thing in common: We fucking love Vice City and the music in the game. Cruising down Ocean Beach with this song playing not giving a fuck about anything else. Accidentally driving into the water and this song playing as the 'Wasted' screen appears.

  • @MrNotbadyou

    Agreed lol

  • @MrNotbadyou ROFLLLLLL! That was to funny and so true!! Brings back good memories of playn this game :D

  • @MrNotbadyou that was a perfect explaination

haha, well time to hook up the old ps2

  • @MrNotbadyou poetry man, fuking poetry... greetings from BUENOS AIRES

  • @MrNotbadyou amen 2 that, brother.

  • YES YES BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG!!! LOVE IT 80'S

  • When I heard this in the first car you drive(which I think is the Admiral) I was like O_O.

    O_O

I didn't even want to drive back to the hotel after dropping off Ken Rosenburg...

  • vice city stories is good but its a step back from san andreas

  • @keki2006 i agree buddy boy

  • @keki2006 Very True

  • good song

  • No Justin Bieber, no Miley Cyrus but a REAL MUSIC! I wish I was born in 80s :(

  • @Dexter158 Believe me, we only remember the good music from the 80´s... there was as much shitty music in the 80´s as there is now. Just listen to the music you like, enjoy it, don´t judge music you dislike.

  • @appeboy But a band like Talk Talk... it´s the only music that´s completly on my frequence... every time again there´s something new to be found in there music.

  • damn what a good song. Flash FM had some amazing stuff on it, Vice City in general had the best collection of 80's music i've ever heard. Flash and Fever 105 are just classic

  • FFFUUCCKKK YEAHHHHH

  • I think the 80s artists should do a come-back concert and play these amazing songs

  • It's one step off being a ballad this song. Awesome drums in the background and the piano solo through the middle makes it better

  • @MusIqqq4Lifeee People will remember soon enough when they see him walking the streets of their neighborhoods; it will be bad for business.

  • I experienced close to 8 months of the 80s (born in '89) and it...was...AWESOME!

  • King Music *_*

  • When i first bought this game i fell mysteriously ill and was unable to leave my home for a week lol, while playing when this song came on i would always park up and enjoy.I would do that even when i was in the middle of a mission lol.

  • @Carbon657 LOL Me too, Carbon657. Sometimes, I still play the missions too just for fun as well as to get through the game, but since I really love the music on GTA: Vice City especially all of the songs from Flash FM as well as a few other songs from a few other stations, I just drive around the streets of Ocean Beach and Washington Beach or in certain parts of Vice City and just have the music playing while I'm relaxing. Sometimes I even park my car in the game too just to hear the music.

  • the vice city soundtrack was the collection of the best 80's songs :D

  • @florian1988Ger this song is truth, cause Life's what you make it.

  • @florian1988Ger GTA: Vice City is still one of the most best GTA games ever made, isn't it florian1988GerGTA?

  • reminds me of flying a helicopter in vice city during sunrise

  • thank u for uploading

  • I used to love cruising the city in the helicopters listening to this

  • I would love when this song came on while I was driving around in the game even if people were shooting at me or cops going after me LOL!

  • Awesome chilling and driving song^^.

*sighs* I want this type of music to return : /.

  • I just love listening to this song while driving around in the eighties like miami: vice city! <3

  • finally i found this song after a half year... i had the melody on my mind but didn't know the name!

  • KILLER TRACK!

  • 2010 needs more artist like the artist from the 80s

  • @FederalReserveMan Yes 80's music was the best! I wish they still made music like this!

  • @FederalReserveMan The 80 - 90 will never come back my man! This was the best from them, or what you think?

  • @FederalReserveMan i cud not agree more..80's rocked and will ever rockkkk..

  • @FederalReserveMan .....The 1960's and 70's..were even better than the 80's

  • @FederalReserveMan There are MANY artist that are like the artist from the 80s youjust gotta know about them.... many of them are famouse in europe and are totally amazing.

  • @FederalReserveMan I agree

  • @FederalReserveMan fucking agreed dude...I miss the 80's so damn much..

  • @FederalReserveMan Well Duck Sauce stole a the song Barbe Streisand, it was stolen from Boney M with Gotta Go Home. and Will.I.AM off the black eyed peas made check it out what originally was Video Killed The Radio Star. but he did put the orginal artist name on it. and Duck Sauce took all the credit for it.

  • @FederalReserveMan

    2010 is gone

    2011 needs

but unfortunately people these days like lady gaga and Justin Briber

  • @FederalReserveMan and 2011.

  • its about time mark hollis/talk talk were in the music hall of fame.

  • Comment removed

  • @Carbon657

    Hahaha, awesome music =)

  • same ere XD

  • Comment removed

  • just love to drive at cruise speed on every game that has a car while this song plays.

  • Best soundtrack on a game.

  • Gr8 song. 80s were the best 4 music. my favs from em r Life's What You Make It & It's My Life.

  • they should make a modern day version of vice city, obviously still in the 80's just like make it again cus it was good

  • Comment removed

  • that is before tommy came to vice city! or did you forget Lance Vance is killed in "keep your friends close..."?

  • @SpawnSpectre

yes I know that. I didnt get very far in the missions so I just go around causing chaos.

  • i think the next GTA's should be a make over of vice city and gta SA like with a physics engine and better graphics

  • I agree they should take all of the GTA maps and combine them all together into 1 massive GTA Game and have GTA IV graphics. and have it set in the year 2010.

  • The American music scene in 1986 was fucking falling apart, so thank god for the British New Wave bands at the time!

  • @degree7 man fuck them brits.

  • @KatanaK1D09. First of all we mainly populated the north of America and 2nd we saved you Poles from utter oblivion by the krouts, so respect the British coz we run dis ting...

  • @degree7 HELL NO, not on the HEAVY METAL front.

  • @MetallicBill

Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Judas Priest, (early) Def Leppard, Saxon.

They all influenced the American hair and thrash metal bands (although these British bands were from the early 80s).

  • @degree7 Def Leppard once ruled 80s music, and they toured with Scorpions and Tesla, where the music all around was perfection. They did combine all the best of hard rock and rock n roll into their music. Saxon is so great to see in GTA as well.

  • WORD DOE GURL ... I LIKE THIS JAM
